I keep breaking them at the tang. The one im holding stays fine. Ive been known to break my fencing teammates (the clubs) blades. Once with a brutal parry 3, kinda flicked out during the parry to riposte to the arm but found the blade a little too well. Opponent disengaged amd the blade just fell apart. The other time i got a slash on my shoulder, and we get back into en garde, and the tang is just hangingnon by a thread (literally). Im planning on getting a spare sabre blade (cheap cause im fencing on a budget) hopefully before my next tournament cause im rocming a 20$ sabre i got on marketplace. Beautifully balanced but i know that blade isnt top quality.
