- In an attempt to eliminate the play in the gear lever, I replace its spherical bush. It's quite a uncomfortable job involving restricted access right underneath the middle of the car, not to mention trying to keep oily hands off the newly installed central console carpet!
Another great video. So pleased you keep in the bits where you are not entirely sure what you're doing. Gives us all hope!! lol
Great vlog nice to see the gear selector sorted looking forward to the next video 👍👍
Great channel. Thank you so much. Thanks to people like you, we still have a chance to find out what a real car is.
Thank you. Glad you enjoy it!
RUclips's search algorithms brought me here. At first I assumed someone in the UK sourced an Austrian licence plate and put it on his car for a good laugh but no, this is the real thing a couple of hours drive from me! Your struggles brought back lots of memories from my 12 years in the UK - I did work on classic cars for living and had my encounters with the big Rovers which I always thought were better to work on than Jags (and never mind Mercedes Benzes) of that era. Better value too. Keep posting those vids, all being well Tara may get to meet my Ami-Schlitten later this year (am in the middle of a gearbox swap so I get to see the undercarriage a lot!)...
Great to hear from you. I look forward to meeting you and your Ami-Schlitten soon. Keep in touch!
@@tarabordeaux1968 will do, thanks. Box swap is progressing (slower than I want, but sill)...
👏👏👏 Well done again. Always a nervous moment. Great you can still source the parts to keep her going. Just think of the money you’re saving in labour alone. She’s the car that keeps on giving. 👍 😌
Thanks Gary. I always appreciate your positive comments.

You’re welcome. It’s always nice to see what’s next on the list. Hopefully not a lot....I must say the P5b gets all the love and attention she so well deserves. Thank goodness for guys like yourself. 👍
Very interesting video. This car is beautiful so I shared your channel on a classic car Facebook group. You deserve more subscribers. 👍
Thank you. Much appreciated!
Great work, a fiddly job. 👍
Thought it might have been a simple job.....well done 😁
Have you found Harold Wilson's pipe??
That one isn't Harold's, but this is: ruclips.net/video/EOG0traPhC4/видео.html
