11 year old me never knew what this song was all about and now after all these years as I am sitting alone in an empty library writing my research paper, every word of this song speaks to me. The uncertainity, hustle, feeling of inadequacy and being left behind, fear of failure, loss of relationship, fragility of human nature and everything else seems too overwhelming.
Exactly same situation right now too. I am so glad I came back to their music. Their music is even more meaningful to me now that I am not a kid anymore.

MY OPINION (PLEASE RESPECT IT): 2:53 This is the BEST guitar solo I've ever heard in the history of music. It might not be the hardest but it certainly is the most beautiful solo EVER and I personally think November Rain loses to this one. Nonetheless, respect to Slash what a legend!

I remember when this song was released while I was in high school and I loved Avenged. I always treasured the meaning of this song but as I’m getting older this song is really something to live by. Give the hugs, kisses, and tell your loved ones you them.

This is one of those songs that i can listen to on repeat and never get tired of it. M Shadows sings it with such raw emotion it gives me chills. It's legit Feb 2024 these guys got me into metal in 2013 and metal has gotten me through everyday I have specific idols who have saved me constantly including The Rev he's missed every single second of everyday but this song continues to make me sob along with Fiction, So Far Away, St James, Crimson Day and Acid Rain there's more but not saying atm
