Ok thank you my coworker said it only detects seatbelt use when moving!

What if you have multiple drivers in one vehicle? Is there a way you can identify the driver? Is it able to identify harsh braking or acceleration? If being used in remote locations how does it recognise speed limits? Does it need 100 service coverage to work?

Can you tell if my seatbelt is buckled or unbuckled if I’m idling in park?
I’m told GEOTAB only records seatbelt activity when driving.
    That sounds crazy!

      Hello,
As long as we are pulling seatbelt data from your vehicle then it doesn't matter if it is stopped or moving, we will still be able to detect it.
      Thank you
