Prediction: The first scene of season five will be a flashback of Will in the upside down. Something about his time and possible relation to Vecna will be revealed, and then we cut to the opener. After that, we will pick right back where we left off after season four. After 20-30 minutes of that, we will jump to November 1987, around the anniversary of Will disappearing. For the last 30-40 of the episode, we will see Hawkins in shambles with a military presence and the citizens forced to quarantine. We will see Dustin visiting Eddie’s grave and talking to him. Eddie will show up in a dream sequence that will foreshadow Dustin being cursed by Vecna. Towards the end of the episode, we will see Max trapped inside her own head and in Vecna’s world. Max will eventually find a way to escape her own mind, and wake up. The last shot of the episode will be a close up of Max dramatically waking up from her coma. Cut to black.
I’ve also thought of that, seems likely to happen but who knows.

Do u think max is gonna be blind and have powers? When she was in Lucas’ arms her eyes where white like she went blind and maybe eleven when she revived her made her have powers. Just my own theory and if its correct she’ll be like Toph from avatar
i STRONGLY believe wills birthday was intentionally “forgotten” and here is my proof:
1. in s4 trailer, argyles truck has a phone number on it and if you were to call it before the actual season came out, it would play happy birthday like reallly creepily.
2. also there’s tons of talk and refrence to birthdays in s4, birthday parties going on in rinkomania, murray talking about a 1 year old forgetting their birthday, will saying “10 bucks mom forgot something” when joyce left ect…
3. when they go to susie’s house, mike says that they need suzie to help them for “dustin’s birthday” and suzie says the EXACT DATE down to the hour to dustin’s birthday-almost signifying that the duffers remember birthdays.
4. the duffers tweeting “some friends forget to play dnd and some forget birthdays” the day after wills birthday.
5. in season 1 and 2 there’s a card on wills wall that says “i forgot your birthday”
6. there’s also official season 4 merch that says “do you know what march 22 is”
7. the duffers also mentioned that they would never cut any scenes and they never will.
8. there’s also rink o mania bts where Will is wearing a shirt that he never wears in that scene which may mean they return back to rink o mania for some reason-maybe for a flashback or vision.
9. there’s also tons of references n stuff to “sixteen candles” which is a show about people forgetting the main characters birthday.

They gave us the opening with the flashback of will in the upside down singing "should I stay or should I go".
Duffers already said there’s not gonna be any recap or ramp up for S5. It’s jumping right into the action and is fast paced for a majority of a season.

that’s most likely gonna be a flashback to season 1 when Will was trapped in the Upside Down singing
Probably at the end of season one episode 7 where the demogorgon destroys castle Byers and then we’ll see what happened after that
You forgot one major location The Wheeler's House. I wonder if that building will make it to the end of season 5. I can see 001 maybe destroying it.
I think itll start with a monologue of vecna explaining his plans, and we see his physical form and then itll jump into the time jump
Hey wanted to share this theory I saw on Reddit with you. So you know, the Duffer Brothers said that a time jump will take place in Stranger Things Season 5, BUT we don't know whether it's to the future or the past. Time is mentioned a lot in ST. Like the children going to see the "Back to the Future" movie or Vecna's victims seeing the grandfather clock.
Yesterday I was watching Season 4, Episode 9 (the final episode): The Piggyback
When Nancy and Steve are talking in the woods, in the upside-down; Steve says this:
"When I was a baby, I actually crawled backwards," Nancy says:
"Crawled backwards?" And then Steve replies:
"You know, I'd push with my hand like this. Beep. Beep. Always in reverse, you know."
We know season 5's first episode is named "The Crawl". I know there are a lot of theories about many monsters crawling out of the gate as Nancy saw in her vision, but my theory is that maybe time will be reversed to the same day Will went missing like time is paused in that exact same day in the upside-down. I know, it'll be hard to do the CGI work or cast another group of kids (they can't do that, the community would hate it) but maybe there's a small chance that they’ll use similar de-aging technology like they did on El for the massacre scenes in S4 (thank you SaladConstant7176 for your comment.)
i think your right, i was actualy thinking the same thing. also about the leaks/updates, im surviving off those, but i feel if we keep having more and more leaks, it could possibly ruin it, and i realy dont want that to happen.

Prediction: The first episode of season five will start with Dustin visiting Eddie’s grave🪦it time jumps one year later Vecna will take over the lab and even the library a battle will begin and a new monster will come in rising from the depths of the ruins the scenes will be an hour and 40 minutes long Max is trapped in Vecna’s mind so Eleven and others are gonna have to find a way to get her out of the tunnel a war has begun in Hawkins and the crew is ready to gear up for Battle Dustin will later get Possessed or Cursed by Vecna in some kind of way towards the end of the episode cut to black.
