I've actually used this for years. It is a stiff string and definitely requires engagement to get the strings to respond. Found this to be very reliable and consistent for my requirements. I think its highly dependent on tension though (as for all strings). In equal measure I find the softer strings (eg Lux element) more difficult to use. Each to their own I think
I find Hyper G to be about the most overrated string out there. Very mush and disconnected; it loses tension quickly. Solinco's other 2 strings are both better, in my opinion, but new strings like Restring Zero and Toroline strings do everything better than Hyper G and have a cripser, more connected feel.
Partially agree - in that, there are other great solinco strings overlooked that are at least on par with the HG. 1 of my kids fav is Solinco Revolution 16L in a Babolat PA98 at 55/50. Great control, insane tension maintenance in the 90 degree SE FL heat. Disagree with Restring lol 😂😂😂 and Toroline Wasabi and Wasabi X 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Maybe in a 50-60 degree weather it performs decent but it is an absolute rocket launcher in a 97-98 head size racquet at temps of 80 and up. Probably comfortable but no spin, no dip in trajectory. I actually bought into the hype last summer, wanting to support the underdog 😂 bought some Restring and Toroline wanted my daughter to try something with better durability, something that can last 2 hrs without dropping tension and both these strings were absolute jokes. Not only that it’s lacking tension maintenance, it’s got horrible control as well. I know strings can be subjective, my kid cannot play with them (her go to: 4G, Solinco rev 16l, Head Lynx tour and sometimes Babolat rpm rough) I actually stung up 2 different racquets (both 98’s) for two dudes here in the club and they also disliked it. Both guys play on the ATP tour and one of them prefers fairly loose (50lbs) tension and likes “free power” but even he was like wtf. Again, I don’t mean to dump on these start ups, but why pay almost the same amount when you can purchase stings with proven track record and call it a day. All IMO
It's muted, gets mushy, power dissappears when pushed it's like a shallow trampoline that you hit the ground when jump too high :)) Get confidential and lower tention if you have arm issues...

Yup I agree, my main problem is I have no idea where I’m hitting the ball , I would prefer to play with solinco tour bite
