Just wanted to say, I’m going to get a head cam for my vids from now on as I’m not satisfied with the angle of the camera. It shows way to much of my arms as you all seem.

why dont you try switch handle ond that reel so you winding with your left, you righ handed obviously, you will never go back, no need to swich hands, i will never understand why people do that in Australia, must be when you buy reel from the shop it comes with handle on right side and you just get used to that, try for a couple off days and you will never go back, otherwise it's rare to se young bloke with skils like that👍💪

to be honest alot of the young blokes around here (josh is from my town) practice catch n release my son and hes mates catch alot of fish and let em go the only ones they keep are ones they have speard when skin diving so the future may look brighter

That’s one of the best fishing videos I’ve ever seen these young guys are why we become parents not my kids but I am so proud I am 55 years old they have taken me back to my childhood must have amazing mum and dad keep up the videos boys I have subscribe 👍.

Awesome. You beat my record of 85cm at South West Rocks :( A 30lb flathead was caught here a couple years back! Awesome the release(s), people should also clean up after themselves rather than leaving their rubbish behind. Turns me off fishing bigtime :(

I don't keep flathead over 50 cm I keep flathead under 49CM to 40cm unless it's a bottle or dusky i only keep at 45cm to 49cm when flathead are 70cm they turn into girl for good. I know this because someone's taught me all about flathead that's why i don't keep flathead over 49cm I think they can turn girls about 50cm is what I think but everyone's different

How are they so still when they come out of the water.
When i catch a flatty they are flipping around like crazy when they come out, while im getting the hook out, and even still flipping after ive killed them.

He does eat fish you know that right? My rule is if there’s little to no fish in there always release and if the fish is big let it go, although I’m a release fisherman usually when camping by a lake sometimes it’s nice to try fish you’ve never eaten
