That's true and R3 is a sequel to the R2 /Yuri allied ending... But R1/R3 main event is WW2 and R2's is WW3 and as you've said R3's WW2 is much much later. I think he can do it in the manner he has done everything but timey whimy stuff is not for everyone so I see why he does want to.
It is confirmed in canon that RA1 ends in 1953, and that RA2 takes place about 20 years later 1972-1973 and given the unspoken rule of the games having technology 10-20 years ahead of time for the real world tech and RA3 has tech from the late 2000s it takes place in the 1980s to 1990s
RA3 is actually a bit weird when you look at it. Officially, there was a post war crisis after WW3, but that was actually Yuri's Revenge which already replaced the original WW3. But the time travelling soviets returned to a timeline where they were winning the post war crisis, so it's technically WW4. However, they all call it WW3 and everyone acts like it's WW3, but it's probably the 80s and maybe the 90s.

I must say I am a bit sceptical, your in-depth look on the CnC Tiberium lore is stellar and, like u already mentioned, RA doesn't view itself that seriously. Me neither, although for Tanya my theory has always been that Tanya Adams is a US government given code name for their best female agent, which is why she looks different in all three and why she is still servicing in the army decades after RA1 in both RA2 and RA3
According to the manual for RA2 TANYA is just a catchall/codename for agents like Tanya Adams from RA1. RA1, RA2 and RA3 Tanya are all different people, just that the RA1 Tanya was the one whose real name was Tanya.
I feel like that Red Alert 2 has a middle ground between being serious and also being pretty funny at times. With the story of Mental Omega, it definitely went down the more serious path but also hooked me more into the Red Alert universe and timeline because of the continuity between the first and second games.

He lived happily for a while with his wife and had 2 daughters before the Empire took them by force and killed him which is why we never heard anything from Yuri.

Based on the chronology If Einstein never time travelled, we get Generals (war on terror) Red alert takes place after the first time travel, and depending on who wins that first red alert the timeline splits: If Soviets wins Kane exists and goes into the Tiberium franchise (struggle against extinction) If Allies win ‘Kane’ is just a biblical figure and it goes into the Red Alert franchise and the next games are canon as long as the allies win (battle of ideology)
i love the different command and conquer series and seeing red alert getting attention is great! i do like the wild nature of red alert, it sets it apart from not only the other command and conquer games, but other strategy games in general ^^

I remember how much the time shenanigans impacted the games individually within all 3 series: Tiberian, Red Alert and Generals. I don't know if you'll figure out the order if or how they all connect. It took a bit of time, but they definitely do all connect. Red Alert, if going to Red Alert 3 onward, definitely is with the Allies winning, hence the time shift opening. If understanding from a Tiberian perspective, the Allied victory was the one that led to Red Alert 2, the Soviet victory did lead to Tiberian, and GDI was able to stop tiberium, at least for the time being of Red Alert 3 and Uprising. Either way, I love your Tiberium videos, started with Red Alert 3, loved Tiberium. Definitely can't wait for your upcoming videos.
Those videos do a great job of bringing together the C&C lore like fictional documentaries. The Red Alert series would make for a nice change and there have been a few Generals series. There's a lot of topics to cover "Nuclear technology", "Cryo technology", "Psychic technology", "Submarines" and many more. Games that you haven't included are the mobile games, probably because they're hard to get hold of and they're most likely not considered canon or faithful to the main PC games. I hope that those videos will prompt someone to start reviving the series in official games.
The Red Alert timeline is all sorts of crazy. An RA1 Allied win leads to the rest of Red Alert, a Soviet win leads to the C&C timeline, and mayhaps the timeline that Einstein left behind ended up becoming the Generals timeline. Then there's the timeline convergence of the Yuri's Revenge Allied win, which does not happen in the Soviet timeline, and all the various RA3 Uprising timelines. Stuff's all over the place, but the scariest is that all of Red Alert takes place prior to 1995, when Tiberium first landed on Earth.
i Understand how complicated it would be, but take your time and try it. I tink you can you do it. And yes about the timeline, i think you have to make a timeline plan first to not lose the focus.

Jethild lore and analysis videos on one of my favorite game series? Christmas came early. Seriously though, thanks for covering the series. you'll definitely crush it. The Red Alert Franchise definitely has potential. The way the story is told gives a lot of room to see how things work, and learn about the state and possibilities of the universe. It's kind of the What If? of c&c games. A lot of lore dynamics you can look at. Anyway, I'm interested to see how it will be told. Red Alert has a unique atmosphere having what best can be described as silly, chaotic shenanigans, while also still being dystopian. It's an interesting one all right. I assume you've already seen them but I really like the couple videos that No Strings Prd has on the timeline of red alert and how it could be branched. Hope those help in your upcoming videos and research!

I mean, back in the Westwood era there was no question C&C and Red Alert were connected. Red Alert had scenes with Kane for a reason, the Mammoth Tank and a bunch of other techs are direct nods to C&C and so forth. We also know that Westwood planned to make a Renegade 2 which would've taken place after the fall of the Soviet Union in C&C1. It'd have covered how the fall of Soviets provided fertile grounds for Nod's ascension as superpower. There is also a less confirmed (yet often referenced) factoid that one of the Tiberian Twilight (the actual C&C3 of Westwood, not the console spinoff rebranded as C&C4) missions featured the psionic Nod agent Yuri and him falling into the reactivated Chronosphere during the Area 51 raid. Thus this would've been a subtle nod towards the connection and the true branching point of between RA1 and RA2. Red Alert 3? It tries but given the mobile game spinoff's story it's borderline impossible to reconcile that setting with C&C. Aside from that one wild theory about Yuri having the Tacitus (explaining the faction's weird tech) and then Japan somehow acquiring the same tech from Yuri to make them so ridiculously advanced.

I think the IFV might be a good unit to be among the first to cover, it is so interesting in how many different modifications it can have based on the unit garrisoned (not to mention the secret units unlocked from using a spy on tech buildings as different factions) I'm wondering if they use nano tech to construct a vehicle sized version of the infantry firearm. The onboard computer scans and prints the packapunched - so to speak, weapon which is then mounted on the vehicle
Red alert timeline is basically. Red Alert 1, allied victory Red Alert 2, allied victory (Yuri expansion confirms this) Red Alert 3, Soviet's beat Yuri's revenge than went back in time to avoid how badly they lost. With the Soviet commander being the general we see. (I love your videos so I assume your red alert series will be awesome too :D)
Absolutely go for. I've loved the tiberium lore. I'm not very into the RA branch of C&C but I know it's got a fair group of people who love it, so go make them happy.

Glad to see that you are covering the Red Alert universe. I know all the time travel makes the timeline wonky (The first timeline, the Yuri's Revenge timeline, and the Red Alert 3 timeline). I've always wondered when exactly nukes were erased since they were around in the first game. Did the events of that game change too? Then there was that odd case of the timelines "merging" in the Allied ending of Yuri's Revenge that has not happened with any of the other time travel cases. Maybe you could even do a video on the Red Alert timelines? But things like the Chronosphere technology, Iron Curtain, and Telsa Coil are to iconic to the Command & Conquer series not to talk about.
The timeline breaks into two lines: The line where Yuri Exists And the line where Kane Exists. If Yuri: Kane doesn't exist. If Kane: Yuri doesn't exist.
That's not really accurate. Kane actually created Yuri. Despite it not becoming a game in itself, that lore was stated when relative to Red Alert 3 (cancelled Red Alert 3 expansion in place for Uprising). Besides that, there is a connection between Yuri and Yuriko Omega in Red Alert 3. Alongside a connection between the Tacitus and the Empire of the Rising Sun. Also, a fallacy players often make is that if Kane wasn't seen in the end of Red Alert's Allied victory, then he can't exist in the series. Except he is shown in the Soviet victory, which means he does exist within the series.

Now this is good news. Don't worry, I am sure most topics related to the Allied and Soviet factions would be easy to cover, as these factions exist in all RA games (just like GDI and Nod in Tiberium), and they always have infrantry, vehicles, superweapons, and all the other things typically seen in C&C.
The fact that you have 50 videos for just the Tiberium series I look forward to see what you can do with the Red Alert series even with all of its challenges.

For lore intensive videos, I think it would be a good idea to establish different timelines, that remain consistent throughout your coming videos with Red Alert. I think Tiberium Dawn is the sequel to the Soviet victory timeline in Red Alert 1, and Red Alert 2 is the sequel to the Allied victory timeline in Red Alert 1. Red Alert 3 is an alternate timeline to Red Alert 2. So we have 3 timelines. 1. Soviet victory -> Tiberium Dawn 2. Allied victory -> Red Alert 2 3. Soviet time machine timeline They could be abtly named: Tiberium timeline, Allied timeline and Soviet alternate timeline or so. Come up with some names that'll stick and make the audience able to differentiate between them, when things are mentioned.

The Red Alert timeline is all sorts of crazy. An RA1 Allied win leads to the rest of Red Alert, a Soviet win leads to the C&C timeline, and mayhaps the timeline that Einstein left behind ended up becoming the Generals timeline. Then there's the timeline convergence of the Yuri's Revenge Allied win, which does not happen in the Soviet timeline, and all the various RA3 Uprising timelines. Stuff's all over the place, but the scariest is that all of Red Alert takes place prior to 1995, when Tiberium first landed on Earth.
i Understand how complicated it would be, but take your time and try it. I tink you can you do it. And yes about the timeline, i think you have to make a timeline plan first to not lose the focus.

The Red Alert Franchise definitely has potential. The way the story is told gives a lot of room to see how things work, and learn about the state and possibilities of the universe. It's kind of the What If? of c&c games. A lot of lore dynamics you can look at.
Anyway, I'm interested to see how it will be told. Red Alert has a unique atmosphere having what best can be described as silly, chaotic shenanigans, while also still being dystopian. It's an interesting one all right.

I mean, back in the Westwood era there was no question C&C and Red Alert were connected. Red Alert had scenes with Kane for a reason, the Mammoth Tank and a bunch of other techs are direct nods to C&C and so forth. We also know that Westwood planned to make a Renegade 2 which would've taken place after the fall of the Soviet Union in C&C1. It'd have covered how the fall of Soviets provided fertile grounds for Nod's ascension as superpower. There is also a less confirmed (yet often referenced) factoid that one of the Tiberian Twilight (the actual C&C3 of Westwood, not the console spinoff rebranded as C&C4) missions featured the psionic Nod agent Yuri and him falling into the reactivated Chronosphere during the Area 51 raid. Thus this would've been a subtle nod towards the connection and the true branching point of between RA1 and RA2.
Red Alert 3? It tries but given the mobile game spinoff's story it's borderline impossible to reconcile that setting with C&C. Aside from that one wild theory about Yuri having the Tacitus (explaining the faction's weird tech) and then Japan somehow acquiring the same tech from Yuri to make them so ridiculously advanced.

Yeah fair point. Red Alert timeline is all over the place, that's why I always prefered the Tiberium Saga. Still, any video you upload is cool.
I think the IFV might be a good unit to be among the first to cover, it is so interesting in how many different modifications it can have based on the unit garrisoned (not to mention the secret units unlocked from using a spy on tech buildings as different factions)
I'm wondering if they use nano tech to construct a vehicle sized version of the infantry firearm. The onboard computer scans and prints the packapunched - so to speak, weapon which is then mounted on the vehicle
its like having a 3D printer scan your AR and print a 50 cal to mount

Red Alert 1, allied victory
Red Alert 2, allied victory (Yuri expansion confirms this)
Red Alert 3, Soviet's beat Yuri's revenge than went back in time to avoid how badly they lost. With the Soviet commander being the general we see.

Absolutely go for. I've loved the tiberium lore. I'm not very into the RA branch of C&C but I know it's got a fair group of people who love it, so go make them happy.

Glad to see that you are covering the Red Alert universe. I know all the time travel makes the timeline wonky (The first timeline, the Yuri's Revenge timeline, and the Red Alert 3 timeline). I've always wondered when exactly nukes were erased since they were around in the first game. Did the events of that game change too? Then there was that odd case of the timelines "merging" in the Allied ending of Yuri's Revenge that has not happened with any of the other time travel cases. Maybe you could even do a video on the Red Alert timelines?
But things like the Chronosphere technology, Iron Curtain, and Telsa Coil are to iconic to the Command & Conquer series not to talk about.
The timeline breaks into two lines:
The line where Yuri Exists
And the line where Kane Exists.
If Yuri: Kane doesn't exist.
If Kane: Yuri doesn't exist.
That's not really accurate. Kane actually created Yuri. Despite it not becoming a game in itself, that lore was stated when relative to Red Alert 3 (cancelled Red Alert 3 expansion in place for Uprising). Besides that, there is a connection between Yuri and Yuriko Omega in Red Alert 3. Alongside a connection between the Tacitus and the Empire of the Rising Sun. Also, a fallacy players often make is that if Kane wasn't seen in the end of Red Alert's Allied victory, then he can't exist in the series. Except he is shown in the Soviet victory, which means he does exist within the series.
@@Justhere377 Oh fair, it is a bit fucky that without Einstein, apparently Yuri doesn't do much in the 'new' timeline of red alert 3. Besides his genes being collected for Yuriko.

Now this is good news. Don't worry, I am sure most topics related to the Allied and Soviet factions would be easy to cover, as these factions exist in all RA games (just like GDI and Nod in Tiberium), and they always have infrantry, vehicles, superweapons, and all the other things typically seen in C&C.
I'm glad you decide to go into Red Alert series, I hope you could also do videos for those games expansion like RA2 Yuri's Revenge and RA3 Uprising.

For lore intensive videos, I think it would be a good idea to establish different timelines, that remain consistent throughout your coming videos with Red Alert. I think Tiberium Dawn is the sequel to the Soviet victory timeline in Red Alert 1, and Red Alert 2 is the sequel to the Allied victory timeline in Red Alert 1. Red Alert 3 is an alternate timeline to Red Alert 2. So we have 3 timelines.
1. Soviet victory -> Tiberium Dawn
2. Allied victory -> Red Alert 2
3. Soviet time machine timeline
They could be abtly named: Tiberium timeline, Allied timeline and Soviet alternate timeline or so. Come up with some names that'll stick and make the audience able to differentiate between them, when things are mentioned.
