We went on a class trip to the state capital Springfield when I was in 8th that was back in 89. We visited Lincolns grave the state legislature, and we saw the governor's mansion but we didn't go inside. Too bad we didn't have cellphones back then. Beautiful renovation job 🫶🏿 from Chicago.

The transformation is phenomenal. The house resembled an outdated museum but now it is a warm cozy home. 10 out 10 for balance of traditional furniture and warm tones. ❤
Historic buildings need to be preserved and used. We need to be less wasteful and respect our history. Too many buildings fall into disrepair and end up torn down. Preserve your towns history and support you local historical society

The very old vintage combined with modern aesthetics , remodeling and design is breath taking. When one considers the brilliant job her husband did with the budget, continues to strive and achieve in so many other categories it is quite apparent Illinois has been blessed with the greatest Governor and First Lady ever. J.B. Pritzker is without question a Presidential hopeful and god only knows what his wife could do with the White House. Heaven on earth !!! I had know idea that Henry Horner was a governor of Illinois. I just knew about the notorious public housing project on the Westside that was named after him, I'm leaning alot on this episode of Homeworthy.
This was a treat! This is my first time seeing Mrs pritzker and learning about her as a person. Also my first time seeing inside of the governor's home in Springfield. I love the dusty aqua color she chose for her favorite room. The entire home is decorated beautifully
Her husband allowing illegal immigrants to invade the city now wants small towns to take them in 😂 seems they could house several hundred in this house.

MK Pritzker tends to wear too long dresses,.My advice: just above or on the knee. Sleeveless always works with her. Ideal for her is Chanel. Also a dark blue woolen cape with light mink fur collar on and all white shirt and finished with a skirt, grey nylons with a dessin and pretty high heels. In summer a very nice jumpsuit buttons at choice in white on half heels black or brown . And also a white shirt sleeves half up with a sitde gesp on the sleeves on a beige classic Ralph Lauren pantalon with side pockets and plies for the belly on brlue half booties. . Yellow golden round or oval shaped jewellery a touch of smaragd and a touch of sapphire,. I won't go deeper in on this topic. That house is more than ok you know.
