I stopped at the grocery store last night and I heard a song being played…..it was a song that Dan made a fabulous cover for, but it wasn’t Dan singing. Oh Donna, you & me both, kid. My grown kids now have the word "no, we don't want to hear how much better Dan does this song" on auto-pilot whenever a song fills the room. I have "but...but...but... he does sing it better!" on auto-pilot!. They don't care. I call them old fuddy duddies for their lack decent heavy metal in their lives. They just shrug.😂

I do think you ought to give Dan more than 20 seconds before you jump to conclusions about what he's doing.... just saying. 😊 BTW, you can't say you've covered Dan if you haven't taken at least a peek at both his classical side and his softer side - both are superb. I highly recommend you try The Music of the Night to start. If your jaw doesn't drop in shock I'll be surprised. Same with Gethsemane - you won't believe it's the same guy. And how about a little opera? Nessun Dorma. How about a quiet, exquisitely sung ballad? The Last Goodbye. There are lots of others, in many different genres and styles. There aren't many popular singers who can expand your musical horizons, but Dan can! I hope you can devote just a few of your remaining 30 days to do a little more exploration. Thanks again!
