I live in Spartanburg South Carolina. We have tons of homes like this , sadly a lot of them are abandoned and some are destroyed from vandals , weather and just old age. But a lot are still very much still able to be lived in. It’s nice seeing someone spread the beauty these homes have to offer. I actually live in a old mill home that was built in 1890. And I freaking love if.
Sad, I went to SC for my sons Marine graduation and I felt in love with the área. Many places old fashioned and we stopped at a gas station also old fashioned and the owner was seating down outside waiting for customers to fill up the tanks, very friendly.
Does anyone actually know why the family left? I guess I missed something. It’s sad. This house could be made into a gorgeous place again. Every home has a backstory.
Note: If this house was abandoned, the Bank owns it! It is against the law to trespass its called criminal trespassing. Also take note he said; we've got to be quiet. Which way did they enter? The Back!

I went to a house like this in Georgia. I did some research and found out the mother died on her way to work 6 months earlier. She left behind six kids. She drove into a river during a heavy rain. Looks like the kids stayed until the marshall evicted them.
That calico cat was a popular hobby back in the early 1970s, possibly the late 1960s. They weren't sold like that anywhere- you would have to make the cat body with plaster of Paris, or buy the cat from someone who made the bodies, the cut pieces of calico fabric and apply the pieces on with Mod Podge. I never had one, but always wanted one. Many people used them for door stops.

There seems that something wrong happened here. Not just a divorce. I’m thinking a welfare case where either elderly were taken out or the kids. And someone probably got arrested for not taking care of someone. That’s why everything is still there. It was abandoned on 2015 but had stuff in the cabinet that expired in 2005? There’s more to this story in my opinion.
Love that bead board by the stairway & the Newell post and railings and hardwood floors are so neat in these older homes. The craftsmanship of yesterday was amazing! Ya don’t see it in homes of today

The reason the windows are so big is because back in the early days there was no AC so the windows would usually be almost the entire floor to ceiling for air circulation I WANT this house

Sadly it seems this once grand farmhouse has been abandoned by any legal owner much longer than the last occupants id say because of the style of furnishings in there&the hot plate and mismatched furnishings.looks as if squatters had lived there until the disrepair/black mold was effecting their health.I wonder if down in the basement the builder might have signed and dated it

Looks like grandpa died and frustrated parents sent their kids to live with grandma so she wouldn't be alone (and they could. Divorce maybe.) I bet that poor house reeked of pot because when young people drink, they are usually smoking that dank shit. Adult protective services probably put granny in a "long term care facility" (another word for old folks home).

Could have sold it and the new owner did nothing with it. Be interesting if someone did the research to find out what happened. I know on one exploration of an abandoned place the people were all killed in a car accident. The house was left even with dishes on table and food on stove. Someone knew the place and shared the story. Along with newspaper clippings. Be interesting to know.
That's what I'm thinking and possibly not so good of a relationship with the mother OR grandmother or an aunt. Could have been fighting among the children as to weather to sell it or who would buy it from the others. I have a neighbor who passed away years ago and her kids, all boys are still in court about it. One was never married and lived there But the Mom had promised different things to each adult child but none of them are happy so the courts have to decide... It is being redone or has been redone because of some storm damage in 2011. Nobody lives there as 2 of the brothers have bad heart problems so the one who did live there has lived with the youngest son since his open heart surgery.. Really sad and this is not at all she would have wanted for her children. They all have plenty of money so none of them need money from it and probably won't want to sell it unless it was to one of the brothers or a grandchild. Only one son has kids 2.
My guess would be that the lady died. A lot of these abandoned homes ARE left abandoned because the owners died. But I’ll never understand why the heirs don’t claim the property or the personal property left inside?
It can be a lot of work cleaning out these homes which I understand however, they could have taken some of their belongings and sold the place. So many homes go abandoned by peoples heirs because they just don’t want to deal with them. Which is a total shame.

Hi! I’ve been listening for spirits in your videos for the past few days..it’s just a strange hobby (If they’re there and speaking, I can hear them in any recorded video, even movies!) Some of the houses you’ve been in, that I’ve seen, had no activity at all. Some were VERY active. Some were even scary/funny. Some spoke very loudly, some barely audible. Here, pretty much the moment you begin recording the house ..we see what looks like his & hers chairs. With a good pair of earbuds and the volume up the highest it goes, we get our first spirit speaking to you - 4:36 “get out of our house” ..if you keep listening, you’ll hear the male spirit repeats this several times. He’s just saying it over and over, even as you speak. You’ll have to listen very hard to hear it, but it’s there. I’ll edit this if I hear more..I’m pretty sure I will .. Edit: bit disturbing, but at 7:43 you’ll hear the male spirit say “kill” ..about as aggressively as you’d imagine. Pretty clearly, as well, because you aren’t speaking. Hear it? 9:33 “slut” ..angry spirits who don’t want you there say some pretty crude things. I’m not sure if he’s calling you a slut, though lol. You’re in a medicine cabinet..which may have had a certain type of medicine in it, know what I mean? Who knows. 11:26 he giggled “heh heh” when you said the fridge is gross lol 13:05 not sure if it’s a living female in that part of the house near you, singing, but it sounds out of place and starts/stops abrupt, so I’m thinking it’s more likely to be a female spirit humming a little tune. 13:30-13:32 female spirit says “ouch …ouch…..hurts” the word “hurts” is louder than the ouches. The ouches are barely audible. 14:03 female spirit says “get ouT” There’s been more between then and 17:15, but I can’t make it out..here female spirit is agreeing with you that the wood is beautiful with a “yep” 17:17 (17:18) “yes indeed” Says something else after that but I can’t hear it bc you’re talking. 17:33, same female who’s been speaking and who hummed a tune earlier, says “energy” ..I think. It’s louder, like the humming, but still kind of difficult to interpret. Oh wow..ok..so 17:46//17:47 you’ll hear her say “it ..killed us up..here..” 😳 She says much more, but that’s good enough :) …there’s even a male who says “s*** hole” lol I’ll leave everyone with this fun little challenge - what’s the male saying at 26:11/26:12 while everyone is talking… Is it “out the way” or “other way” hear anything after that? Before it? 🤔

I have seen MANY of these videos and whenever they walk into a kitchen and start opening cabii always wonder WHERE the heck are all the cockroaches? Normally a place like this should be crawling with roaches and mice. Can someone explain this?

I don't know who the ppl are who came in calling y'all squatters and saying that was their grandparent's home and that you were trespassing. But, they both seemed like nasty ppl just trying to make you go away instead of trying to sell this home. I'm sure you will do well on this sell and or restoration. I just hope there are no ppl who are going to try and dissuade any potential buyers. I clicked on one of their pages and it is super Weird! Just the kind of ppl who might do something like that. Hi! I’ve been listening for spirits in your videos for the past few days..it’s just a strange hobby (If they’re there and speaking, I can hear them in any recorded video, even movies!)
Some of the houses you’ve been in, that I’ve seen, had no activity at all. Some were VERY active. Some were even scary/funny.
Some spoke very loudly, some barely audible.
Here, pretty much the moment you begin recording the house ..we see what looks like his & hers chairs. With a good pair of earbuds and the volume up the highest it goes, we get our first spirit speaking to you -
4:36 “get out of our house” ..if you keep listening, you’ll hear the male spirit repeats this several times. He’s just saying it over and over, even as you speak. You’ll have to listen very hard to hear it, but it’s there.
I’ll edit this if I hear more..I’m pretty sure I will ..
Edit: bit disturbing, but at 7:43 you’ll hear the male spirit say “kill” ..about as aggressively as you’d imagine. Pretty clearly, as well, because you aren’t speaking. Hear it?
9:33 “slut” ..angry spirits who don’t want you there say some pretty crude things. I’m not sure if he’s calling you a slut, though lol. You’re in a medicine cabinet..which may have had a certain type of medicine in it, know what I mean? Who knows.
11:26 he giggled “heh heh” when you said the fridge is gross lol
13:05 not sure if it’s a living female in that part of the house near you, singing, but it sounds out of place and starts/stops abrupt, so I’m thinking it’s more likely to be a female spirit humming a little tune.
13:30-13:32 female spirit says “ouch …ouch…..hurts” the word “hurts” is louder than the ouches. The ouches are barely audible.
14:03 female spirit says “get ouT”
There’s been more between then and 17:15, but I can’t make it out..here female spirit is agreeing with you that the wood is beautiful with a “yep” 17:17 (17:18) “yes indeed”
Says something else after that but I can’t hear it bc you’re talking. 17:33, same female who’s been speaking and who hummed a tune earlier, says “energy” ..I think. It’s louder, like the humming, but still kind of difficult to interpret.
Oh wow..ok..so 17:46//17:47 you’ll hear her say “it ..killed us up..here..” 😳
She says much more, but that’s good enough :)
…there’s even a male who says “s*** hole” lol
I’ll leave everyone with this fun little challenge - what’s the male saying at 26:11/26:12 while everyone is talking… Is it “out the way” or “other way” hear anything after that? Before it? 🤔
