I love her mentality on the bushings... That whole "I'm happy with what they come with now I don't want to ruin it with the perfect bushing setup and turn myself into a picky asshole" thing is pure wisdom. She's 95% Buddhist monk🤣
Lol, it's the most lightweight truck that she could find? What about forged titanium? And she can for sure see her wheels if she's riding 149s on an 8".
yeahhhh that kinda bothered me, theres a shot where she puts her board down and you can clearly see the wheels sticking out past the board so like, why say it?? I ride 144s on a 8.375 deck and you can still see a bit of the wheels when you look down.
I grew up skating Gullwings, Ventures, Independant, Thunder. I would always think about time i thought i skated the best and which trucks but it doesnt really work like that. I'm riding Indy 139's now, the standard ones with a solid axle. I'm a fan on Independant Trucks the most but i liked riding Thunders a lot too and i think riding different trucks can actually help your skating, it forces your muscles and muscle memory to learn rather then just be the same ol same ol. I used to always think let me give an 8 inch wide board with Thunders to some old school street skaters and the can only skate switch for a year straight, off the top of my head, Templeton, Vallely, Stranger. I know thay would hate it but picture Julien bombing hills switch and really sailing switch ollies. In competitive gun shooting guys like Jerry McCulik or however his name is spelled shoot all different types of guns and they say that makes them better shooters then if they only shoot one gun. Cardiel was a Pro Snowboarder and when he skates you can see that skill in his Skateboarding.
Fabina Delfino is a great talent skater and she can provides a great tricks to keep her from skating and a great varietys of tricks and a good energy to make a huge improvement on balancing the ledge of grinding and defense at the right time to executed the landing! My birthday 🎂🥳🎉🎈🎁 🎊 was yesterday! 🔵🔴⚫⚪🏀💯
If you do feeble or smith grinds, the marks will show up around the rear kingpin pretty fast. Also if you do more tailslides than noseslides, the wear will show on the face of one of the baseplates. They are a couple of easy ways to know what truck goes where, if your sticker falls off lol
@@18JR78 Yeah but maybe they broke their board and the trucks have been rattling around in their backpack on their way to the skate shop. You just look at the grind marks in that case.
@@pkelly529 When I was younger I skated more and definitely had more marks. I think I'm just older now and am not skating as much as I want to so my trucks stay newer. But yeah for sure!
An easy way to differentiate between your front and back truck is by doing back crooks. Do a few until you get that lil crook mark and you’re good to go🤌🏼
Fabi, check out the Nine Club interviews with Professor Schmitt. There IS some science about trucks and their relation to the board, and knowing it can really up your game. Pop is a science now.
I used to rock those, now i run a 94a hard bottom 92a blue up top. Over time i like how the 94a hards break in down low. But that perfect rebound in transition/high speed of the blues are the best. I love the conicals all 94a were too hard blast off hips/lip but landing was all manual heavy. The 94a hards on the bottom kind of feel like bones bushings how they bottom out or have a lean/limit. Which is also nice for powerslides/slashers.
Actually no! I’m running 149 with 8.25 with some bones V1 54mm and I get zero wheel stick out! It’s feels amazing to have some much grind area with such a perfect shape deck
yes but more hanger=better lock in for nose grinds/smith/feebles. Also more hanger in my case=more wheelbite clearance for bigger wheels/wider wheels on a smaller width. Like 159 indys on 8.38. Or certain shaped boards=no risers.
How do you not know which truck is the back or front unless you skated a twin tail or nose board but you also should keep a bolt thats a different color for the nose then there's no point for all that plus indy bolts come with one gold bolt, Indy bolts are the best and better than diamond by a long shot.
@@TheRecordLibrary idk if it’s so much mansplaining as it is just him thinking he knows what’s better when actually 139s are more ideal for 8s. 149s are great for 8.25 and there’s skaters that skate em on 8s 🤷🏽♂️. It’s all preference haha
lighter trucks being better is a myth....when you pop the tail and the front truck goes up - the heavier the truck the higher it will pop because they have more inertia; I = m x r^2 where m = MASS of the truck. people be dumb these days....
The title doesnt make sence "the lighter the better" indy hollows are heavier than thunder standards by like 100 grams lmfao, and theres thunder hollow lights, and tensor maglights but we dont talk about those

Crazy i watched Fabiana and Pedro grow up at boca skatepark and now look where theyre at!! Im their biggest fan now.
Sounded so weird lmao but I respect it
Hell yeah I got 149s recently , just skate em as they come ,
I feel her on that tho. I’m kind of in a little truck/ board madness my self. Shit can really fuck with your menta

Yeah I thought she ment 139s which you wouldn't be able to see your wheels when skating anything over an 8"

Well said, don’t have to worry about, I need this or that, make it simple, so you can concentrate on skating.
Get her a hardware sponsor asap
lmao looks like she robbed an Ace hardware for her bolts
Yeah wtf they are all over the place
I started loosening my indys and they're the best.
An 8.25 feels like an 8 too me ...8.3, 8.375, 8.38, 8.475, and 8.5 I like the board Wide as the 149s
great skater 🔥
Indys for shore !!!
Like her philosophy ab it
Bought my niece
That Same Deck. 8.25 Santa Cruz Fabiana Delfino. For Christmas
It was so buttery such a great board.
Good 💡 idea .I never thought to put F and B on the trucks. I guess my way is I always have a little sticker of some kind on the front truck somewhere.

If you do any krooks at all you will easily know which one is your front truck. Nothing sexier than a nice krooks groove in a worn in pair of trucks.

Put the F and B in little hollow spot under the trucks and they won’t fade and won’t show
Anyone can tell if the song is from some band or just made for the clip? Really crisp guitar tone in the intro.
Killing it! What skatepark? Ramps look ill
I put an F under the base plate. Never wears off ;)

I gotta try them hollows bcuz I never tried a light board, it's just a bit pricey! INDEPENDENT, SPONSOR ME PLEASE!
159's work GREAT for 8.25, that's all...try it!
8.5 or up works better with 159
159s on a 8.25 i cant imagine that
But then again to each they're own

For me its pretty obvious witch is front and which is back. I usually switch them from front to back each time I setup a new deck.

Shouldn't she be on 139, 144 if she rides 8, 8.25?
Totally agree, I think she got confused there.
Hahahahahahhahaha you sound like my 50 year old buddy who still skates small trucks just to match the board size. Always size up
Where do u buy Dee's Indys at ???
I could never ride stock Indy bushings. Indy medium hard conical blue boys are prime FYI

why do you put the wheels upside down with the design inwards?
Cool kid club
I think she meant 139 instead of 149. Having an 8.25 board and 149 trucks, you will definetely see your wheels.

Awesome
What’s her wheel size
Love Indys
I asked her this once and her pro wheel comes in 52-53 so I assume that’s about the size wheel she skates in the conical full spitfire shape
she rides her pro model in 52mm you can see it at 0:44
get what you get, try not to be upset...🙃
A better way to save weight and therefore take the hollows would be to take the 144 instead of the 149 with an 8.25 deck?!
