@1:34 when Lagertha calls out to Ragnar really resonates with me for some reason, the music is getting higher and the nice jump shot plus the fact that they had her call out to him in icelandic adds some sort of mysticism to it and kinda reminds you that this story would have taken place over a thousand years ago gets you really immersed. Such a powerful single shot

She was speaking Old Norse not Icelandic.
Though Old Norse and Icelandic sound pretty similar because Icelandic has remained pretty close to Old Norse, infact so close that Old Norse speaking person and Icelandic person could probably communicate and understand eachother

I believe Ecbert's 's gost took back Lergatha who was between life and death, to ragnors death scene. kind of like time travel. and she saw everything and felt the prospective of everyone who presented there. thats why she took the form of King Aelle , the guy with snake and all. finally after ragnor was thrown into the snake pit , she was up in the cage and felt the last moment of ragnor and what he felt and what was seeing/reminiscing in his mind at the last moment., and she realize in his last breath , ragnor was thinking about her Lergatha - where he remember being in the bed with lergatha, half naked and tells her i always dream of you , last night i dreamt that you were feeding me the blood pudding .......etc... this is was what ragnor was thinking at his last moment and it was shown to her. if you look closer , the moment ragnor turn his head in the snake pit , that scene appeared where season one young ragnor is laying next Lergatha at the same posture. may be its possible he also saw lergatha in the cage when he looked up and thats why i said its like time travel - where at that moment Lergatha and ragnor were between life and death..and the sprit can travel in time and meet . so may be ragnor saw futuee grey haired lergatha after all.,

lagertha running terrified through the woods represents her state of madness...then, out of love for her, the ghost of king eckbert gives her the gift of the vision of ragnar's death, leading her out of madness (his spirit guides her as she leaves her mad self behind to go watch the spectacle)...as mentioned previously, she imagines herself as aella/et al. because she feels guilty at how she didn't help ragnar when he asked for her to come to wessex...at the very the end, when she recovers her senses and is told she's at the royal villa in wessex, she realizes is was the ghost of eckert who gave her peace and closure.
