You know Russell is a RUclips star! He is the cutest little guy! Love the spring pots with all the color. They are going to be gorgeous. Love, love, love, that Benjamin and Samantha get to help cook. They are just adorable. They will know how to do everything when they grow up. Just precious enjoying their gummies. You are the best!! Have an awesome day!❤
Your containers are gorgeous. I love that you involve Benjamin and Samantha in cooking and baking. They will remember those precious times with you as they grow up. My kids are in their late twenties but every year we still get to together for Christmas cookie baking. As little kids, they were always in the kitchen with me.

Seeing Benjamin & Samantha Grace gobble up the gummy treats was a perfect ending to the video. The 4 pots were gorgeous as well and I can't wait to see the bulbs bloom and peek out from the hellebores!
Love. Love all your u tube times. You are amazing. I learn so much about plants from you. You are so sweet. Your mother and sister are great gals too!!!♥️👏😂
Oh Laura, your artistry flows effortlessly. Those pots are stunning! Your relationship with your mom and sister is a testament of the love your parents instilled in you. Your videos are so inspirational in so many ways…Thank you!
Russell is just the coolest cat! Coming in there for his closeup like the RUclips star he is lol!! Love how the spring containers turned out - they are going to be gorgeous as they fill out just a bit!
This video is such a treat! You with your sister and Mom. Gorgeous spring flowers in your fantastic huge new containers. A Cheddar closeup, and homemade goodies with the wonderful Benjamin & Samantha. So good for the soul at the tail end of February. Love it all! 🥰
Taught 3 yr olds Sunday School for 25 yrs with untold numbers of crafts and activities. NEVER in that time have I witnessed a preschooler with motor skills like Sam. Absolutely unbelievable, highly prized!
Hm… maybe each generation gets better? My granddaughter is three and has been able to do stuff like this, very fine motor skills, since she was two. Her baby sister just turned 9 months and her motor skills are very advanced for her age, so her doctors say. I’m guessing it’s regular by now.
In this beautiful, fun video, my favorite part was Russell, with his big feet, looking straight into the camera. Aaron hauling in the soil on the tractor was so heroic! I was inspired by the speeded teamwork of Laura & Aaron filling the giant pots with soil, a living analogy for Garden Answer.
Love how you involve the kids. I think they love the treats even more because they helped. Also, the pots are gorgeous. You've gotten me hooked on hellebores.
It was so good to see Susan, Monica, and you, Laura; having such a good time together. I love the yellow twig dogwoods with the flowers you picked out. The combination somehow reminds me of a beautiful gold frame with a painting of bright colors! 😊. So beautiful! The gummy recipe at the end sounds so good. I am going to have to try it with my grandkids! I didn't have any flour to make the dried flower heart ornaments so am using the air dried clay. I ordered dried flowers you suggested online. ( I had some dried flowers from our garden but after all these months in the garage they looked kind of questionable! ) Just waiting for the ornaments to dry so I can decorate them. I certainly appreciate everything you do on this show!
I've never been much of a fan of the yellow twig dogwoods and when Laura picked them for these containers, I wasn't feeling enthusiastic. But then voilà. * chef's kiss * . Your metaphor is spot on.
The containers turned out beautifully with the Arctic fire dogwoods as centerpieces and the Gummi bears and worms were so much fun to see from making them with the kids to eating them at the pond. ❤😂❤!
Your children are so much fun to watch! Their excitement is so contagious! The cement containers are beautiful! Hellebores are one of my very favorite flowers❤ I worked at the Village Green in Cottage Grove for years, and our gardens were renowned. We had so many Hellebores. We loved to float them in shallow vases. They were so beautiful! As always, your posts always bring big smiles!❤❤❤
Oh my gosh this video was sooo good on multiple levels 🥰 Always love the trip to see your mom and then those containers! The beauty of the final product…gorgeous. And then the view when you were standing at the corner containers that looked out to the Hartley and beyond. Oh my!! The sun, the garden landscape….. I’m so jealous. Spring is most definitely there 🪻🌞 And then last but not least, the gummy creations with your kiddos. So great,Laura. Thank you ❤
I find it incredible to realize - before watching your channel a few years ago - I didn’t even know what a hellebore was. These are so beautiful. And there is such a variety to choose from. How fun to have these large containers! I still love your pallet walkway! It looks so nice winding through. Also fun to go to the garden center and out to coffee with you girls!!! 👍💚💚💚
Even dressed as ‘the abominable snowman ⛄️ “ your mother looks beautiful x Her inner beauty just radiates from her xxx Oh I love a tour of the garden centre thank you x
What a treat! Shopping for new plants, planting spring pots, coffee, Mom, Monicuss, your precious kids, and cooking all in one video! The only thing missing was antiques---too bad you didn't have antique Gummy molds!
I cannot for the life of me think of a better way to start the day. Choosing flowers and then coffee and delicious carbs with family and friends. Oh almost forgot about the beautiful weather.
Hello Russell...you camera hog!!! Love the pots. Your videos are such a daily treat for me. Thanks for all the hard work and sharing your lovely garden with us.
I completely agree with your mum on the strawberry pots. I've had the conventional ones before and they are a pain to plant in and maintain. I'd buy these new style ones in a heartbeat and they look so pretty too!
So nice to see the beautiful Russell. For a while there I was beginning to think that Douglas had usurped Russell's role as guardian, companion and tour guide so it's good to see he's back on the job.🥰
When I saw that pallet of soil bags I thought there would be some stored closer to the house! Containers are huge and I love love the arrangements. Always enjoy seeing the family together. Hartley is multi functional!
Such fun making treats with the kids, my sons are in their 50s, grandkids all in college and it will be awhile til great grandkids come along but I sure miss those days! Always love seeing Benjamin and Samantha in your videos!!! Thanks Laura for taking the time to make videos like this for us to enjoy!
Love the addition of the yellow dog woods! I wonder how they preform in the south. Have you ever considered doing a garden ASMR channel? I would subscribe!
Lol Russell needing his camera time, so funny! What a wonderful treat for the kids, and it so easy. I'll have to give them a try for the grand babies. Those colors for the containers is going to be so beautiful. I can't wait to see them in a few weeks for sure ❤
What a great video this morning. Who could ask for more? Beautiful planters put together for a burst of color and the feeling of spring soon to come and wholesome treat making with your adorable little kids 💗. Thank you for sharing the gummy recipes, going to give them a whirl once I get some molds. I think my granddaughters will love them.
Seeing all of this makes my heart sing. The pots are stunning. We had rain, hail, rain, snow, and sunshine, yesterday. I think we’re a ways out. 😂 PS Monica’s new haircut looks fabulous on her.
I know you said you want the pots to match but you may want to consider doing 2 different pots depending on exposure. You could have some of the same plants in all of them but then different plants in the same colour scheme that are adapted to the amount of sun being received. You could still the overall same effect and colours but they’d be better adapted to their location. Thanks for all the work and inspiration - even if you tend to “contaminate” and create “needs” for us! 😂
Loved the container arrangements and love the little actor in front of the camera Russell! Loved to see the kids so involved into making the treats and how they devour them in no time ❤
I love when other flower farmers (or influencers, RUclipsrs whatever you want to call them) support each other! I had no idea sunflower Steve made honey!
Those two cuties just scarfing down the gummy worms will steal your heart!! 💓I am just sitting here smiling with delight at their joy and cuteness. Those gummies are a great idea. And I LOVE the combination of the yellow twig dogwood with those hellebores, REALLY great combination of colors and texture. Thank you! God bless!

It's so clear that you have a great relationship with them. Congrats!
Remember when you went to pick out some fish for your pond, and you saw the round circle rock water feature in their showroom? I think that’d be excellent for your round circle planting area shown in this video. You can plant around the base of it with light and airy plants. It wouldn’t block or take away from the view of the Hartley. It’d be a peaceful and serene addition to this area.
Laura, you have considered placing a water feature in the round open spot in the middle of your brick patio. (Show at 10:05) Well you have one, why not take the fountain that sits all alone in the front of your house and move it to that spot. Moving the fountain might kick you into starting to work on the front area, so Erin will be happy. And another fountain might be found just as special for the front area. And then you will both be happy.
Wow, what a great way to work on small motor skills, and the kids don't even realize it. And so rewarding, better than a puzzle. I enjoy your videos so much, first thing in the morning with my coffee.
Laura, such a beautiful fresh clean looking combination in the four pots. I’m really happy about pot planting because that’s how I mainly garden, due too a very enthusiastic dog 🐕 who like to garden with me 🫣😖 What I’m really going to look forward to is seeing what you put in the 4 pots for the different growing and light conditions. Love seeing the plants at the nursery along with your family. I’ve just started some seeds going here in the UK 🇬🇧. I don’t have grow lights, just a piece of cardboard with tinfoil (aluminium foil)covering it, so it reflects the light from the window (not hot sun ☀️ we’d be so lucky to get any sun 🥶). Love seeing the kids cooking and other fun activities with you, so cute 🥰 P.S. I’m going to make the salt dough ornaments with dried flower petals that I dried for my sisters wedding last year, a little gift for her ❤
Oh Russell loved your close up appearance. Here I thought Douglas had taken over the spotlight but so happy you decided to be the star today. Love the plantings in your pots, so beautiful. Can’t wIt to see what they look like when the flowers start to flush out. ❤️🐈 How beautiful is that pink geranium in your green house. Such a magnificent color of pink. 🩷

Wow the pots are amazing I was not expecting the dogwood in the pots. I love how you fit soo many plants in your it makes them have such an impact from the very beginning and love that so many can be replanted out in the garden.

By far my favorite gardening channel! Not only are you teaching us the ins and outs of gardening, but you show us the importance of family ❤😊

Must be so nice to get your plants from mama's nursery. If I could get free flowers I would probably stroke out doing so much planting.
She does pay for them but at cost while the other customers pay the markup price
