The T-44-122 is a vehicle that I really haven't played in 5 years. There are so many good Soviet tanks at that Battle Rating, I just kinda ended up overlooking it. Compared to the T-44-100 I felt it was a bit inferior to that model for various reasons. Revisiting it reminded me I might be wrong. Also, the T-44-122 can use one piece 122mm shells and those shells were tested on it. The IS-2 for reference is a two-piece shell because the one-piece shell could not fit in the breech at certain angles.

The Pe-8 is slowly replacing every CAS plane in my lineup at almost every battle rating... Do I have a problem? Also fun fact, the T-44-122 could use one-piece shells in real life and those are actually modeled in the game. Which is pretty cool compared to the IS-2 and other 122mm D-25 cannon-armed vehicles that used two-piece shells. One of the reasons that the two-piece shells had to be used is because the one-piece shell could not fit in the breech of the gun when aimed at certain angles. A special variant of the D-25T Cannon had to be used for the T-44-122 called the D-25-44T.

There is no problem in using the PE-8 for all your cas needs.
I had a comeback a few months ago where we were at less than 500 tickets and the enemy had their ticket bar at about 75%. I got the top spot with 10 kills 0 deaths and 2 caps that game so i feel like i actually contributed to the comeback.
This is one of the few prototypes in game that i feel isnt overpowered where it is at. I hope we get more T44 variants in the future. Great video Bo

@@antonytheocharidis9576 t-44S which has the cyclone 2 plane stabilizer, t-44M which gets the V-54 engine, gearbox, track, roadwheels and stowage of the T-54, more ammo(61 rounds total), nvd for driver, and the T-44 MS which is the combination of the 2. Last we have the SU-101 which is a tank destroyer built on the T-44 chassis

Day 76. Well, I remember this machine. The T-44/122. It was one of those projects that just couldn’t get off the ground. All thanks to trying to squeeze a 122mm gun into that cramped turret. It was even less successful than the T-44/100 - thank you T-54 Mod. 1. But all famous tank lines have their origins. The Patton series came from the Pershing series - with the T26E4 Super Pershing being their under appreciated cousin.
