The new Freccia IFV comes with the standard 25mm Autocannon that you will find on the VBC (PT2) but this variant has a twist. Two Spike MR Launchers were added giving this vehicle a long-range capability, as well as the possibility of hitting air targets with its ATGMS. How do you guys feel about the continued roll out of fire-and-forget missiles? Is this good or bad for the game?

I think theyre decently balanced right now, sure they track on their own but they have a tendency to miss often. Feel safer getting shot at by those then wire/laser guided ones
I'd probably say so long as it can be properly balanced it should be okay. You really don't want something with a system like that to be too quick or sneaky as it could end up being somewhat invincible.
I'm glad you can play war thunder Xbox and Playstation offline last I know we got Cyber attack so no warthunder until it's fixed

The water heater bit made me pause (figuratively) and glance at the floor, because I'm pretty sure my house's water heater would punch up into my bedroom if it went ballistic. Good news, it got replaced a couple years ago after it died, so I really should have nothing to worry about.

@@TheGunganlorian Not a whole lot yet, but later this month we will have another update that should change most vehicles' repair cost by a non-insignificant amount, and also buff the multipliers. Again, "should". Don't believe a word of it until Gaijin actually does something.

I'm just wondering if Gaijin would have the balls to add the Tiger II to the Swedish ground tree, as they did have one.
Granted, it was used as a target vehicle post-war. But still, if they could give Sweden a Sherman which was in the same role, then they can add the Swedish Tiger II.

@@pierluigiadreani2159 The Sherman III/IV in the game was used as target practice by Sweden post-war. So I'm saying that if Gaijin can add that, they can add the Tiger II Sweden also used as a training target after WWII.

I believe sweden should also get the NM-116 panserjager, a upgraded M24 chaffee with a 90mm gun which was used by the norwegian army until 1993.
The Spike missiles look nice, I may get to use them soon if the grind is not so bad after the changes.
the economy changes proposed havent made it to the game yet, only a few minor yet important changes are here so far, like night battles being removed temporarily so they can work on the option to get them or not, the grind is still the same as before the update for now
I know that they are not in game yet, but it will still be easier once they come.if they come.

Those missiles are really good at hitting center mass, kinda scary on open maps that thing will do a lot of damage
Except they are super slow. 180 m per sec takes forever and if target disappears missile exploded

When I go hunting or camping in Northern Arizona, we can take a phone flashlight at night and see little glowing beads all over the ground... all wolf spiders, ranging in size from quarter to tennis ball... fantastic for someone who has arachnophobia...

I'm pretty excited to see Spikes appear in WT, as that opens up possibilities for other F&F ATGM carriers to be added. With how much of the tank you need to see, they seem rather balanced so far, so I think this is a nice development. Great vid as always!
I live in Florida and a few years ago I heard about a sinkhole that opened up under a house near Tampa. A man was sleeping in bed with he fell in and his body was never recovered. The sinkhole continued to grow until it ate the house and a neighboring house before crews were able to stop it. So, that is a good fear to have!!

All spike´s have the topdown ability, its just the way they implemented these missles. Would be op if you could fly with your missle and guide it into a target from behind cover.

Hate to say it Bo, but Brown Recluse absolutely live in Michigan, as do Black Widows. In fact both are found all the way up into Ontario, Canada.
Water heaters don’t just generally explode. It takes someone monkeying with the pressure relief valve to make them take flight.

The Puma is a heavier platform compared to the Freccia, with a more powerful gun, it make sense that it would be near top tier, more than 10.0 for sure.

Happy to finally see the spike missiles in game. Looks pretty balanced where it is, I expected these things to be a lot more powerful than they ended up being
the spike-MR is pretty realistic i think, its the LR and onwards where things start getting like fnf NLOS you from 1.5km away levels of OP
I'd love to see some sort of LOAL implemented at some point. Maybe to give scout drones a use other than just spotting? They could designate targets for LOAL missiles or something

About the vehicle, as long as it doesn't face any ww2 or early cw tanks and planes I can't care. Top tier is not worth playing anyway. This vehicle sounds like AB on easy mode in RB, like a ground based heli.

That thing looks good but it does seem unless you can voom around and just fire off rockets as you go it's bit of a big target with a difficult system to target with.

There's some good stuff this update.
Nice vehicles, good visual updates, the start of a hopefully amazing economic revisioning.
However the swedes got absolutely shafted. They were supposed to get the ability to auto-track aircraft with the Strf platforms with their proxy-fuse 40mms but enough people whined about it because their main nation doesn't have anything that does that so Gaijin for once bent the knee to the outcry.
So when is Stick releasing his debut album? Some good (cough) singing chops on display here!

I think many of these fire and forget ATGM have manual control mode you can choose that makes this missiles work just like normal ATGM
If this is true I hope they add this system later down the line

You mean buddy-lasing? Where an ally lights up a target and you drop AGMs/guided bombs using their laser to guide your payload?
@@BeezyKing99 Yup! I don’t think that’s a thing in WT yet, though I don’t usually play top tier and don’t pay a lot of attention for it.
@@silmarian definitely not a thing in this game, hasn’t been implemented since there was a suggestion to this issue, it has been used in combat… but it’s gingles, they don’t care unless you have unclassified information to back it up.
