New subscriber here, I bought my first is200 for £750 did nothing but strip it, steering wheel and welded auto diff sold it for £1k my current is200 is a base model s which I searched for a long time for because they're lighter, no sunroof/elec seats etc. I paid £800 for it and I have custom bc racing coilovers 18kf 14kr which cost more than the car lol I'm running 17" jr11's on 235/45 square setup on advan ao50's and eBay short shifter. I'm going rankone turbo with a custom setup i.e. bigger fmic, 3" down pipe and 1kcc injectors. My ball ache is either ikengineering rods and pistons or tdinorths bottom end because I want over 350whp.
@@RebelClassics yeah I've had a look into them, alot of polish 1gfe turbo use them and there's one website that engineers them for 240euros. I've done quite abit of research into the 1gfe.👍

The stock suspension 'boaty'?! Well, I've test driven an IS200 last saturday and thought to myself 'hey, this thing is stiff!' But then again, I come from MB W124 & Volvo S60 so .. :D
nice vid dude im thinking about to add some power to my 200 too, my heart says turbo, but I heard its not that great for the engine, bc mainly the power curve. U have any opinion on that if a turbo really is worse than a supercharger on the 1g?( in terms ofd reliability)
What is that turbo kit you are showing and talking about (that are 3k from what I understood) ? I’m considering buying one since they are still kinda cheap here but can’t find anything but very basic cheap supercharger kits...

You can get around 340 hp with decompression head gasket, on stock rods! ~ Bob

1ggte internals are the go if you can get your hands on some because buying forged is insanely expensive

Shame there is none around my local area who can weld properly or anything. They can't even refurb a brake caliper. Or even do a decent respray.

as far as u tune the car great its ok, just not to much torque down low and try to make peak power as high in rev range as possible and u will be safe

How much £££ did you end up spending on all these mods?
I did all of the labour myself and most of the parts were gathered over about a year - that's difficult to say ;D ~ Bob
