Been doing digital art for years but with my trash old fingers, But we gotta give some props to Ibis paint for actually doing a tutorial of making a stylus, like they really knows what their users wants and lacks, so nice of them, Thanks Ibis paint, this works like a charm!!!

This is a million times better than those were made with cotton and copper wires. That never worked out for me. Using some aluminum snack wrapper had saved me tons of money apparently.
Now I'm off to learn to draw digital 😆

If you want a nice tip on the Stylus, you could just wrap a pen/pencil with foil/chip bags and make the sharp part of the pen/pencil look nice and not too sharp with the foil
can we have a moment of silence how nice ibis paint is? you never get interuppted ads in the middle of drawing, plus all you have to do is watch an ad to get free pens! like they are so nice O.O even tell u how to make a stylus ! 💗💗

You make drawing look super easy!! I absolutely love the app and it's the only art app I use and have been using for the past few years since I was around maybe 10? It's the most simple art app I know of and I plan to continue to use it! :)

I've tried multiple ways of trying to make a stylus, including this and must I warn, it works but the chances of scratching your phone changes with how well you make the tip lol ofc, no matter what there will still be a few scratches ;w; works tho.

I make lots of styluses like this but they always get lost so everytime I eat chips or even oreos to be honest, I wash them up and just stack them up under my matress and sometimes I don't wash them and wake up to ants all over my legs

Its said that you need to watch ads to draw with all brushes in ibis paint *X* . But... in two of my phones, i didn't had to watch any ads and got all brushes! But when i installed ibis paint x on my tab, i had to watch ads hehe 😊

But it does help to have a stylus because of pressure sensitivity. Your line work won’t look that great if you use your fingers. And simply having the natural feel of a pencil helps a lot.

I seriously just wrapped the cookie wrapper around the pencil and put tape over it and it still works.
