What engine? Could you comment on your carb and carb heat set-up? Does your carb have mixture control? Seems like you have more power than a VW. A friend running a Zenith said he has to run the pump full time. If I remember, he said during testing with pump off, engine quit at altitude. I can't remember if it was 5000 or over.
