  • (2006) Kobe amazing finish in game 4 thriller vs Suns in 2006 playoffs.
    Kobe has always been known as the best clutch player in the NBA since Michael Jordan.
    Before every season, about 80% of the general managers picked Kobe as THE guy they want to take the last shot.
    Kobe couldn't have made his case any better than in game 4 vs Phoenix in the 2006 playoffs.
    Thanks to Smush Parker steal, he first made a tough runner vs Boris Diaw with 0,7sec left in regulation to force an unexpected overtime.
    Then, down by 3 with 10 sec to go in OT, he scored with a quick basket before Walton forced Steve Nash to a jumpball, setting the stage to Kobe Bryant greatest game winner.
    His buzzer beater and "most fun shot he ever hit" as Kobe described it, helped his team to take a 3-1 lead.
    Definitely one of Kobe greatest moments ever in one of the greatest ending I've ever seen.
    Kobe 2nd basket is missing on the video due to a late broadcast.

    Yes, he wasn't getting MJ type numbers. But again, who else would you want shooting the ball on that team. Who's to say if any of the other superstars had to shoot 27 times a game, that they wouldn't shoot the same percentage. And even if it was at 45%, his numbers were still incredible. He had a season in which only MJ and Wilt have scored more total points. That's amazing. Not to mention 10 50 point games, 81 points, 62 in 3 quarters, etc.

  • @Brandutt
    @Brandutt 11 лет назад +1

    So he led the Lakers to a 7th seed averaging 35 pts a game while shooting a whopping 27 shots a game, on an inefficient 45%...

  • @AJVersatility19

    @TyronakaBallar Again going off topic. I NEVER speculated on whether they would've won without Kobe. All i'm saying is, Shaq got and deserved all 3 of those Finals MVPs. Here are the numbers to support. 2000NBA finals. Shaq; 38pts 16reb 2.6blk(Kobe: 15ppg 5.3asts), 2001 NBA finals. shaq: 33pts 14reb 3.4blks(kobe: 24ppg 5.8asts), 2002NBA finals. shaq: 36pts 12reb 2.7blks(Kobe: 26.9ppg 5.3reb 5.8asts). the latter was Kobe's best performance, still not up there with Shaqs numbers.

  • @Brandutt
    @Brandutt 11 лет назад +1

    It's not MVP numbers. That's for sure. And he actually averaged 12 for 27. Allen Iverson shot jacking numbers. We're not talking about MJ with the 80' Bulls here.

    Before they acquired Bynum which tells that they were on a proper path without Gasol and that even if he wasnt taken they wud've done it in 2009. You can examine gregg Poppovichs perspective, they got Marc, Salary Cap space, Mayo and opened up gay with that trade. NBA's a business, btw they hadnt won 1 for 12 years until they did they "bought' their way in 2000

    45% is inefficient? 9-20 is 45%. That's one make shy of 10-20, which is 50%. And even if we was shooting 27 times a game, who else would you want shooting the ball on that team if you were the coach?

  • @tagbon_
    @tagbon_ 14 лет назад

    I love the flash but kobe is just better shooter, better rebounder, better defensive player, more effort. If you ask who is the best player in the league is, D-Wade prolly gets one shout out in a group of ten. Kobe and Lebron are on another plateau.

    But it does matter what he thinks, since it is a matter of opinion. The man coached Jordan. He would know. And for as much as people are on Kobes jock these days, it does not even come close to how they were with Jordan. Not only were people all over his jock, I think they were giving Jordan ass baths with their tongues.

    @TyronakaBallar I'm talking about who looked better in the regular season, and thats what the League looks at. Lebron had better stats and his team won more games, thus earning the MVP. Again im talking about MVPs and not the greatest of all time, so im just gonna ignore that mention of Oscar Robinson. You forget lebron is only 25, he has ALOT of room to grow. you see him now he has a way better jumper than when he entered the league, he IS improving. it's just a long process. give him time

    @TyronakaBallar what Kobe did for LA was spectacular, but compared side to sidfe with what Shaq did, no doubt shaq had the better stats. Maybe you forget that MVP is SEASON mvp, no one gives a shit who advances or who gets knocked out in the 1st round. thats y they have a Finals MVP. when Nowitzki won MVP, he got booted in the 1st round, but did he deserve MVP? absolutely. 67wins. a 50-40-90 stat. maybe you're forgetting the subject matter here, im not talkin about whos better. to be continued
