This is so much better than the RCM recording. I didnt even think I liked the song until I heard it here. It's remarkable how different an interpretation makes in music.

I am mesmerized by the complexity of musical thought of Albeniz , this meditation disrupted by the rythms of a procession, the memories that come and go , the beauty of the themes ...

Thank you very much for your beautiful interpretation! As a classical guitarist I know this piece very well - the original version for piano shows the differences between both instruments...

Completely agree. It's always fun to listen to Albeniz pieces on piano after years of playing them on guitar. Sometimes you occasionally find some new color to add into your own playing after you listen to them on piano.

A magical performance, with tempo and dynamic range perfectly chosen to join both the inwardness of the work, and the side of it that turns outwards. Marvellous. Thank you!

This recording takes 4:42 minutes. Alicia de Larrocha takes almost 6 minutes. I insist: marija goes too quick

I personally like this tempo more. I get that the original composition is meant to be slower, but honestly I love this interpretation

To me, the A section was too fast. The rest sounds great though.

This seems rushed. She never seems to allow each phrase to linger long enough to make any impact.

Odd 'restless' film editing, not really appropiate for this romantic music IMHO...

nice rendition, bit too fast. the filming: please much less cuts, too nervous watching, and much more filming on the hands. good luck!

I find it much too quick and rushed, no space for the romanticism, just sounds like she can’t get through it quickly enough

Too quick. Misses the spanish spirit of music.
