iPhone Se is great, but battery life is a new concern for me I’m not a heavy user but I rarely get through a day with it. Coming from my S7 edge this screen is far inferior as is battery life but I’ll be using this till the 12 comes out supposedly same form factor but all screen but better price than the iPhone 11
It’s not costly to a lot of people. If $1000 is a lot of money to you don’t buy or even consider it. To a lot of people out there it’s just a few days pay.

Apple really needs to step up their game on these newer budget phones. They can afford to put better screens on ANY iPhone. A $400 iPhone SE and a $800 iPhone 11 should come with 4K screens. Even though people criticize Androids for being bad, Androids are definitely the better phones now. Most people buy Apple products for the name.
If you only look at spec like screen & camera resolution, RAM memory Etc, then yes, Android phones are better value for money. But the iphone is just higher quality product. Less software glitches & bugs, it doesn't get overly warm in intensive use like many Android phones, the software gets updates...

I had a budget Android smartphone, the lg q6. It had a great screen, sure - but the camera was from 2014, the battery life sucked balls even though it had more milliamp hours than most iPhones, and the whole thing was slow and buggy. Got rid of it and bought a near 5 year old iPhone, the iPhone 7. Destroys the lg in every aspect.
Just bought the SE. I like the smaller more compact size due to my hands being small. I'm switching from a Sony so super excited. I am going to start making RUclips videos again so the extra space I'm getting and better video quality is superb!

Lexy, thanks for putting this video together for us. I have the SE and quite frankly for the price, it is a decent phone. I have the 128GB version. Battery life is ok I'm not a gamer so for me, the battery lasts a good full day. I have a 64W charger and using that with the SE to charge from 10-15% to about 75% takes around 45 minutes. After that, battery charge is very slow as obviously Apple does not want to over charge the battery. Camera is actually quite good for daytime shots. Video and 4K outstanding. Night time or low lighting shots are poor (coming from a Pixel 3a) which has really excellent images for night time shots. The SE however has some things up its sleeve. I went ahead and downloaded two Cam apps for low and evening images. One called NeuralCam ($2.99) the other NightCap also for $2.99. Both do a good job with some tweaks so, I do not feel it's necessary to spend $300 more for the 11 that has this option built in. If I am going to do the perfect night images, I will do that with a standard camera. So Lexy, there you go. Some input from a new Apple user. Thanks.

I got my wife the iPhone SE, she doesn't do 4K video, or a photographer. Perfect. Fits her old case too, and either product is worth about $4, so why give the big guy more money for a device that just works. Budget is good.

I went from an iPhone X to an SE. At first it felt going back in time. I miss the edge to edge screen, and I wasn’t happy that the portrait mode didn’t work on anything over than a human. However I purchased the Hailde app and that helped bridge the gap I was missing with photography. For $300, it’s a very good phone.
Yeah but the only thing I hate about the SE is the stupid screen look of the iphone 7 and 8. I hate the cropped screen look instead of the bezel less screens or edge to edge screen look or whatever you call it..lol

I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I just got tired of dragging a big heavy phone around. I knew I wanted something smaller but didn’t want to spend a lot since I can trade my 11 pro Max in come January. So here I am with the SE 2020. And I LOVE this little phone. It’s just so easy to hold, And I didn’t realize how much I missed the home button !!! This phone has everything I need. I now realize I don’t need all the extras on the 11 phones. Don’t get me wrong .... they are very nice. But I don’t miss them at all. Someday I’m sure I’ll have to get a new phone. But it won’t big one of the bigger most expensive ones. Highly recommend the iPhone SE 😊👍🏻

The display of the iPhone SE has better colour accuracy and touch behaviour (accuracy, smoothness of interaction and response time) than the iPhone 11 Pro. These two phones also have the same chip. The iPhone 11 Pro isn’t worth 600$ more. I would say it is worth 300$ more.
When does the new SE release in the US? I have an iPhone 6 & it’s not going to last me much longer. With the SE being of similar size but with the more updated tech & storage (my 32G capacity is a constant bother these days) I want it as my next phone & need to know when I could buy it (I prefer to avoid preordering).
Touch ID fails for me at least 50 percent of the time on my iPhone 8, whereas Face ID on my iPad Pro is close to 100 percent successful. And I have entered multiple fingers and positions into the memory.
On the iPhone SE and older models, the percentage is next to the battery icon, so you can see how much percent is left in the battery. With my iPhone 11, there is no percentage next to the battery icon, which is a pity.

I have a note 9 at the moment and want to go back to iphone for many reasons and I was gonna get the iphone max the biggest one and use it for my camera too for my children and my business but then the se came out so my question is should I buy a cheaper phone and then a digital camera or buy the biggest iphone and no camera???? Totally comes down to personal preference here and I guess it depends on two things... if you want to be sharing those photos of your kids easily with friends and family, it's just easier to take them on your phone. Photos for your business might mean you need things like different focal lengths/lenses that a regular camera can give you. That said, there's lots of add-on lenses and third-party photo editing apps that I use on the iPhone that can help get your shots looking closer to DSLR-like ones. Hope that helps!

I just got my first phone. It’s the iPhone SE. it’s pretty good IMO. It’s pretty durable and has mice sound quality. It’s small, but I like that. It does not have Animoji’s sadly, but that’s about it. It can do everything a iPhone 11 can but it’s smaller.
11 Pro. No contest. Upgrade from iPhone 6 so it’s been awhile! Bigger problem: choice of case or cases. Too many choices. So far the Apple Leather Folio is in the lead followed by one of the defender type for ultimate protection. I will probably buy a few and let time sort things out.

I love the old design and i'll love it forever! The only cons of this phone is battery and no headphone jack! Otherwise it is the best phone to buy! But in Azerbaijan it is 700$!

You’ll need a lightning to headphone jack adaptor. You can pick one up for less that $10

$400??? In Australia we're getting screwed paying $1500 for the 11 and $750 for the SE, and even with the exchange rate it shouldn't be that expensive.
I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I just got tired of dragging a big heavy phone around. I knew I wanted something smaller but didn’t want to spend a lot since I can trade my 11 pro Max in come January. So here I am with the SE 2020. And I LOVE this little phone. It’s just so easy to hold, And I didn’t realize how much I missed the home button !!! This phone has everything I need. I now realize I don’t need all the extras on the 11 phones. Don’t get me wrong .... they are very nice. But I don’t miss them at all. Someday I’m sure I’ll have to get a new phone. But it won’t big one of the bigger most expensive ones. Highly recommend the iPhone SE 😊👍🏻

The display of the iPhone SE has better colour accuracy and touch behaviour (accuracy, smoothness of interaction and response time) than the iPhone 11 Pro.
These two phones also have the same chip.
The iPhone 11 Pro isn’t worth 600$ more. I would say it is worth 300$ more.
When does the new SE release in the US? I have an iPhone 6 & it’s not going to last me much longer. With the SE being of similar size but with the more updated tech & storage (my 32G capacity is a constant bother these days) I want it as my next phone & need to know when I could buy it (I prefer to avoid preordering).

Touch ID fails for me at least 50 percent of the time on my iPhone 8, whereas Face ID on my iPad Pro is close to 100 percent successful. And I have entered multiple fingers and positions into the memory.
se 100% due to the home button and the internals. I miss the home button!!!
On the iPhone SE and older models, the percentage is next to the battery icon, so you can see how much percent is left in the battery. With my iPhone 11, there is no percentage next to the battery icon, which is a pity.
I would get the 11 or 11 pro because it has a higher trade in value for when the 12 comes out

Speaking in an aussie accent and stating the SE will cost $400 it's only somewhat logical to think its $400aud. But no.. It's $400usd which equates to over $700aud. Maybe you should mention that. Just my thought

I've heard NeuralCam can function as a decent substitution for night mode; haven't had a chance to use it on the new SE myself yet.
I have neuralcam for my iphoneX and it works very well i recommend it
Watching this in SE not bad so far, really hard getting used to came from android. Battery is AMAZING and the camera quality is good. Body of a iPhone 8 and specs of a 11.

Hi I just found your channel and I'm so happy to see a woman doing the comparisons. I have a serious question. I have a note 9 at the moment and want to go back to iphone for many reasons and I was gonna get the iphone max the biggest one and use it for my camera too for my children and my business but then the se came out so my question is should I buy a cheaper phone and then a digital camera or buy the biggest iphone and no camera???? I hope this makes sense.

Totally comes down to personal preference here and I guess it depends on two things... if you want to be sharing those photos of your kids easily with friends and family, it's just easier to take them on your phone. Photos for your business might mean you need things like different focal lengths/lenses that a regular camera can give you. That said, there's lots of add-on lenses and third-party photo editing apps that I use on the iPhone that can help get your shots looking closer to DSLR-like ones. Hope that helps!

I like the se ...wish the screen was a little bit bigger thank god I miss my home button..but I got so use to iPhone 11 face lock...ugh...the camera is good as I didn’t like the iPhone 11 Idk if it’s just me but it felt low pixelated..she is way better sadly no zoom but has other features just got this phone yesterday man my phone almost drained I’m like is this suppose to be good?

I just got my first phone. It’s the iPhone SE. it’s pretty good IMO. It’s pretty durable and has mice sound quality. It’s small, but I like that. It does not have Animoji’s sadly, but that’s about it. It can do everything a iPhone 11 can but it’s smaller.
My iPhone 7 is aging, lagging and the earpiece is not so loud in phone calls
11 Pro. No contest. Upgrade from iPhone 6 so it’s been awhile! Bigger problem: choice of case or cases. Too many choices. So far the Apple Leather Folio is in the lead followed by one of the defender type for ultimate protection. I will probably buy a few and let time sort things out.
Good review, could have been made better by comparing iOS Numbers, Pages and a few more productivity apps on these devices.

I don't know why people hate the design with bezels and Home button? The SE is AWESOME in terms of design! That's the real iPhone design compared to notch trash! I love the old design and i'll love it forever! The only cons of this phone is battery and no headphone jack! Otherwise it is the best phone to buy! But in Azerbaijan it is 700$!
