Great review Zach. I enjoyed my time in one of these cabins on the Beyond this summer. Would note that sometimes in port the crew will walk around on top of the lifeboats to do maintenance so passengers in these staterooms should keep that in mind to avoid surprises... 🤨
Was in solo cabin on Encore this summer ( you were as well). Didn't like the lack of shelfs/drawls on that ship. But this one has none. Without a real balcony, too many sacrifices. Although no balcony, I like Ncl solo cabin design better. They are supposed to get solo balconies this year, would be worth a comparison, if and when they do.
Zach, I booked my first solo cruise! I need to watch your solo tips again. Still nervous about the MDR. OUTSIDE of that looking forward. Thanks brother and friends and MDR tips. Please share.
Finally, a solo room with a balcony, even if it is a limited one and overlooks a life boat !! Question: Does Celebrity have any solo cruiser activities like Virgin or NCL does ? Or are you on your own ?
I just completed a 10-day cruise on the Celebrity Beyond and stayed in one of these cabins. I loved it; Celebrity's solo verandas must be one of the best solo cabins among the cruise lines. It's also great that they are located on deck 6 which makes it easy to get to the venues on decks 3 - 5.
That box with the outlets is interesting. On a previous cruise, the room steward kept on unplugging my charger if I had left the room with a device charging. Maybe because they can heat up and could lay against flammable material? So the box isolates the chargers.
My next cruise is with Ascent, same solo room. IMHO, they should put the fridge on top (easier access) and make drawers where the fridge was. Let's see how is it when I go in 2 months🥰
The cabin is very nice and spacious especially the bathroom. As someone who usually travels solo, I like the solo rooms. But, I wouldn't get one on Celebrity due to the balcony. Just my opinion, and I let everyone have their own, I don't like the way the balcony is set up. TBH would rather be in an inside cabin. But, it is a beautiful room and ship.

I absolutely adore these rooms - what a luxurious space for a solo traveller! Also, can we talk about that bathroom? It's absolutely beautiful!
Right? And the size of the bathroom really surprised me.

Zach Zach Zach...the other robe is in case you bring home a companion....lol
Looks good to me, never had to book as a solo cruiser, however if i did, i would be well happy with this type of cabin, thank you for the insight👍
Great tour Zack. The solo cabin looks very nice. 👍🏻

Wondering if they charge the additional amount to the single traveler?

I am booked into one of these rooms next year. I am loving the space
Hi mate , just saying you do a great job and looking forward to your future videos.
Take care and hopefully you will visit Australia one day.
Thanks Zach! Your videos are always really thorough. Love it
Glad you like them!
as always thanks for the great info and insight 😊
My pleasure!
That is a much more reasonable size for a solo cabin than some ships. I love the balcony option for solos too.
Can you ask the room steward to remove the for-cost items including from the fridge and the water on the counter?

Two bathrobes, two verandah chairs? I guess Celebrity hopes you won’t be solo for long.🍹🍹
😂
Always appreciate your non bias opinions
Beautiful room! I wonder if you can ask the room steward to remove one of the chairs.
I’m sure they would be accommodating if asked. Thanks for watching!

Don’t like the lack of drawers. The Concierge standard IV had quite a few drawers, but the closet was very small.
Do you travel full time?
Looks lovely, is that a guarantee room? Just curious because of seeing the lifeboat
Solo cabins are all on deck 6, so most of them have that view.
I thought Celebrity was a premium line. This doesn't look that nice with lots of compromises.
