I had that puppy for years and years and put it thru the ringer . Most of the black coating came off . I wish I still had it . But I don’t treat my knives like that anymore. Treasure them !!!!! And I tell you Gil Hibben makes a copy of the first blood and it’s awesome. I believe it is about 2500$ bucks but it would be such an amazing piece to have in a first blood collection.

Rambo III for me. I am 47 years old. Rambo III CAME OUT WHEN I WAS ABOUT 10 or 11, right when I began to appreciate and admire action movies. That knife stands out to me. Rambo II, then First Blood.
First blood knife is what introduced me to liking knives, the dundee bowie started my love for big blade bowies and i always liked the predator, i think it was billys big blade. Your picks are fantastic too

The surprise that I mentioned is two things. My Hibben Rambo 3 made in 1988 is on its way and the other thing is I'm doing another interview with Dietmar soon. I will message you soon because you can ask a question for him if you like. The R3 is coming from Canada and the day it was shipped Canada Post went on strike so it's sitting there for now but hopefully it will end soon and it will be here soon. Fingers crossed 🤞. I have great luck with getting knives but not the best luck with postal companies and customs sometimes huh

But good came out of it because I ended up getting two more as gifts including one from my friend Kyle that owns the original Lile screen used 1 of 13. It's so cool to have photo’s of my knife side by side with the Lile Sly used in the movie. It went for over US $120,000 at auction. I'd trade all my knives for that one 🤣

I own a Jimmy Lile LLC Rambo 2 knife made by Vaughn Neeley. I actually carry that knife every day. It is an excellent knife and definitely my favorite knife of all time, not just movie knife. I also have a Rambo 3 Bowie from Gil Hibben and Mk. 9 (Heartstopper) from Dietmer Pohl. All legit from the knifemaker with great quality steel and construction. They’re all users. Thinking of getting some more at some point.

@ Not really, at least about my knife collection. Those 3 Rambo knives are the only serious knives in my collection, though I am hoping to get more. I use my Mission Knife fairly often so I may get another one just for collection, as well as the First Blood knife. Also thinking of getting the Expendables 2 Toothpick knife from Gil Hibben as well. All those are expensive, though, so gotta save up. And happy Thanksgiving to you too!

It was just a replica from Hollywood Collectibles I think 🤔 But Even though most of the black coating was almost gone , and the sheath looked like I’ve had it under water for years , it was still solid and sharp . I got almost $100 for it . I sold it like 12 years or so ago . My current Rambo collection and Expendables I just keep minty . My oldest son ( 26 ) has no interest really in any of my knives but for some reason , he absolutely loves that Hibben Toothpick . He says “ that’s the nicest knife in your collection “. I love it 😻 His eyes get all huge when we break that beauty out . Haha 😂

Especially the Mission Knife I have. $2500 but Vaughn Neeley did a fantastic job with great materials making that knife. So while I primarily bought it as a piece of Rambo movie memorabilia, I do use that knife often. So far, all my knives are Rambo. Would like to branch out and get things like the Predator machete or Expendables knives too. I know Gil Hibben still makes the Expendables knives and I hope to get one of those. Not sure if any custom knifemaker is making a Predator machete or other Jack Crain designs. Would like to spend the big bux on custom made, hard use knives like my Vaughn Neeley Mission knife.
