Hi there! My name is Jen and I am the founder and writer of World On A Whim, the Perfectionist's Guide to Spontaneous Travel. Such a cool video. Honestly, I don't know much about King Arthur and movies related to him but your amazing video makes me want to watch them. Never been in Wales before and outside of London didn't go anywhere in UK. Absolutely love Caernarfor Castle.

My kids would love that train ride. the castle is magnificent! is the Excalibur real? so the Round Table is not a literal table? cool that you got to go on that tour...too bad the movie sucked and bombed. :)
This is probably a silly question, but the areas they used for filming the King Arthur movie that you showed us, were those for the newest movie that recently came out or from older King Arthur films? I haven't seen the new one yet so wasn't sure. But regardless, everything was so beautiful and it was really cool hearing the history behind everything. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! The locations that we visited were used for the newest movie that came out with Jude Law and Charlie Hunnam but some of the locations were more legendary like the Round Table and Carlisle Castle which was said to be King Arthur's Camelot!
Mount Snowdon. NOT Snowdon Mountain.I wanted to know the where bthe forest scenes were filmed. But, Guy Ritchie has done it again. Turned the story of King Aurthur on its head. To most English people King Aurthur and Camelot is supposedly located smewhere in the South West Of England. Tintagel in Cornwall has been named as a possible sight. As have other locations in Cornwall.
But I WANT to jump off of it :)
