Trying my best to align Japanese problems with my viewers. Although it's not a One Child policy 😆 Tokyo is a paradise for Singles unfortunately need to find me love lol
Great overview. Some points I disagree is the locking mechanism, it's not needed here sice there's the on/off switch. Not a lot of cameras back then have that, but Nikons do have them and that's why your biased view come from. I wouldn't say it's a flaw. It would be on/off switch or lever lock, not both or it'd be redundant. The other thing is the shutter, which is a leaf shutter. Most leaf shutter sounds like that, and quiet. It doesn't have a "clap" like the two-plane from focal plane shutter. While I also don't like the sound, it's definitely quiet and to most people that's useful.
I mostly shoot with Nikon unfortunately. But I have this habbit of pressing the shutter button when in standby mode....kinda ironic that although it's a leaf shutter it only goes up till 1/350sec....
@@RM.TokyoPhotographer yes, leaf shutter can't go so fast. im not sure if there's any but fastest leaf shutter in production is 1/500th which is very low (3 stops different) than focal plane that can go up to 1/4000th. it's because the mechanism of it has to go back and forth of one unit instead of 2 focal plan that goes one way. but the advantage of this is leaf shutter can sync flash at all shutter while focal plane can only up to 1/250th hope that clears up the differences!
Fantastic camera overview. The distance mode descriptions got me cracking out loud XD
