@skihound24 Yes OEJ has the new interior, the exact same Business class seats as the Qantas A380. Pretty soon all of Qantas' B744ER's will have the new interior.
its a continuation of the flight from dallas-fort worth QF8 does dalles-brisbane-sydney because the plane does have enought fuel to fly direct to sydney from DFW
I am told by someone that knows that they use 2 techniques when the plane is near MTOW: the 1st is running onto the runway with the engines spooled up, the 2nd is to spool them up against the brakes then as they let them off giving you a lot of thrust at the start of the take off run. These planes on Take off use all the thrust that is available. Qantas run an extra 1000 IBS thrust on their A380’s than other airlines with RR engines.Off course if other air lines introduce ultra long routes they will use more thrust too.
I get it now; seems like that restricted the payload with all the added weight. 6 tons sounds about right for the A380. Rumour has it that a new livery could be applied to one of their A333s but I'm not sure if it's true or not
Very well done, this 747 was previously Wunala Dreaming! Sad to see her in standard livery. Very good quality as well!
awesome - long live the 747 400
amazing view also i went on singapore airlines this year from brisbane to changi
Awesome vid.

Did VH-OEJ have the new lie flat business seat? Gotta say I miss the Wunala livery but hope it goes on an A380 soon

The engins are GE. Cool!
It can take A380's...it was widened for that reason several years ago! I work in the ARFF at Brisbane Airport.
Is this the same flight that comes from DFW?
Does Qantas 747's do Brisbane to Sydney?

If Brisbane can handle 747s, it can handle Airbus A380s just as easily...
Prove it
