R.I.P. bushcraft camp. From the first ridgepole to the fire reflector thanks Mike I have enjoyed watching you and your channel and I will take this as not goodbye but hello. Hello to new adventures and more excellent TA Outdoors videos 👍👍
The World NEEDS more fathers like this. Good content that displays a real and fun relationship between a Son and his Dad. For those who were not so lucky, this is how Fathers can be. What I like is how the Son is on the verge of always laughing at his Dad's mannerisms and silly sayings and how the Dad has an attitude of "I don't give a flying f*ck, so here weeeee go!" I relate to this because it's a really unique transition going from being "You're my dad, protector, and leader by example" as a kid to an adult which is "Oh sh*t dad, what the bloody hell, hahaha....I finally GET you!"
I love the interaction between you and your dad - so nice to see you respecting your father and you both getting so much enjoyment out of completing simple tasks together. You are both lucky men to have each other.
That old 1965 shovel with the pick would make those unexpected middle-of-the-night cat hole digs (I backpack here in the US with a hammock) much quicker. It looks heavy as you say, but what a beautiful piece of gear. And it's as old as me! On another note, I really miss my dad. Cherish every moment you have with each other. You have a special connection. Thanks for letting us share your times together.
Thank you BOTH for an exellent years entertainement. I hope both channels keep going on to better and better things. I wish You both and all your family a very merry chrismas and a wonderful new year. Good health and stay safe.
This is really awesome I know it’s three years ago and I’m sure you won’t even see this comment whatsoever but I am so excited to get in here and watch this even though it’s been quite a while ago that this was filmed. I always love watching you and your dad building things and I just can’t wait to see you too camping together. What a beautiful relationship you to have
you and your Dad are such a Hoot together, makes me smile... he's got a wonderful sense of humor and you bring out that when your both together...many happy days ahead for you both! enjoyed all the outdoor adventures you have shared with us! Right , you Bloody well right!.
If your Dad wrote a book, I'd buy it, for certain! I've always loved life stories from different times, hearing my Dad and his brother and friends from when THEY were growing up. Adventures and misadventures and experiences, these are things that would be lost if not shared/chronicled
My goodness, what a wonderful father-son relationship! I watched this video just to enjoy your interaction. The cabin is absolutely wonderful. God bless you future adventures.
Maybe now you guys could do a Pallet wood "Guest Room" build, so Mike can have a warm dry place to sleep. You guys rare the absolute best on RUclips! This brings back fond memories of my childhood, going out in the woods and building like structures to camp in or get out of the weather. Great video! Happy Holidaz. Thanxz
Saying goodbye, for what you know to be the last time, is never easy, regardless whom, or what it is you bid farewell to. The experience is not unlike experiencing a death in many ways. I'm relatively new to your videos, but in such a short span of time, they are easily my favorite. God bless both you and your Dad, Mike. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to you.
Recently found your channel about 3 weeks ago, and have been binging episodes as fast as my time allows. The bushcraft content you provide is superb and the energy you give off is very infectious. I see this video is from roughly 5 years ago so I hope you and your father are well and enjoying camps together. He is a treasure.
The best part of all this has been watching you two goof around (a little), listening to the stories from Graeme, seeing your resourcefulness and skills improve and see you both spend time together. I can tell you treasure it. It's good for the soul. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and conjure up new ideas and adventures. Keep up the good work.
I really enjoyed seeing your father again with you, The two of you truly make me laugh out loud sometimes. That is when I can understand that British accent. Your father’s accent is so thick there are times when I can’t figure out what he’s just said. But I laugh anyway. It was hard to see the big camp be torn down. I don’t know why - sentimental maybe. But I had a suggestion that you might think about your future episodes. What about creating different shelters like you did this year only in a large circle around a center firepit. You would leave each shelter up and progress to the next shelter during the year and when fall came about, the nicest time of year for being outside, you might think about finding a group of inner-city boys and girls who have never camped out before. And bring them for a weekend to stay in the shelters. I don’t know what grade you teach, so I’m not certain this is something that would appeal to you, but all the work that you put into creating each shelter would serve a purpose in the end by providing a wonderful experience for someone else. It’s just an idea. I live in the states, So I’m not sure if there’s a difference in whether you’re allowed to bring a group of kids to something like this. But maybe you could coordinate it with other organizations in your nearby city. Other ideas to combine with building shelters might be identifying trees and plants and then making a dinner from them. I really enjoyed the episode where you created a basket out of vines. Something like that would be interesting again. Or possibly building an outdoor oven or kitchen. If you want to travel in your area, you could choose a decade in that particular area of England and give the background to how people lived during that time and build a shelter or create a hunting or fishing item from whatever is available to show how they survived. You might combine some trips with specialists in a particular field like wood carving or like your friend who creates gourmet dinners in the woods. Those shows were very interesting and it takes some of the load of knowing everything and allowing yourself to learn along with your viewers . Whatever you decide to do please make sure to add your dad into the mix now and then. I believe he is the father that many viewers would love to have experienced in their own lives but enjoy being able to share a little of his humor and wit 😊. Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year:🎄🌚💫
Been looking forward to the last overnighter at the camp since the last video!! Really looking forward to the new content in the new year hope 2019 is a good year for your family and Chanel!!
Love how you maximized every aspect of your pallet cabin. I also must say i envy the relationship you have with your dad. Its wonderful how you guys get along so well.
I am on Dad's team but he needs a new sleeping bag for sure. That's the easiest Xmas gift ever. You guys are so awesome and really entertaining and funny when you are together. It is awesome to see. Hope you guys truly enjoyed yourselves. Well, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours. Sincerely, Michelle and Pup Harley
A little piece of your history in the bushcraft camp. Best thing is you have the video forever. Looking forward to the new adventures and hope to see Graham quite often. Great job guys! Cheers.
Yes: I am back again! Love the pallet wood cabin and the G-Stove. Some RUclipsrs mention the residual 'cold' that creeps into a sleep system and a shelter in the small hours of the morning. How does the G-Stove handle that in your set-up in your (less than dismal cold) climate? What a pleasure it is to watch you and Graeme prepare 'real food.'
I absolutely adore you and this channel. Loved seeing the fun friendship and activities you share with your dad. How lucky you are to have grown up with his adventure, spirit and sense of humor.
Mike and Graeme I can’t tell you how much I love your individual films. But I just ADORE the ones with you both. What a great team and the epitome of a father and son relationship. Dean from Australia (formerly Doncaster S.Yorks).
This reminds me as a kid playing with my dads saw horses ,and pretending they were real horses..such fun lol. Thanks for dad n son video...your dad makes the show.
Awesome man! You are very fortunate. It warms my heart to see you and your pops sharing quality time out in nature. Cheers to many more years of happiness to you both.
You are so right about the joy of building new structures and the life it brings to a channel. Carlisle195 is 'champion' at that! I saved all your Bushcraft camp overnighters: they are fine to revisit. Yes...we have wanted the two of you to camp overnight at 'the woodland studio.' Your Dad is being a good sport to give up a comfortable bed at home! Pallet cabin: it has a sound roof and wind and rain will happen most often when you are half-sodden with sleep.
I love watching you guys! Your father if so funny and you get along so well together. I will not be surprised if do not get 1 million subscribers in 3 months. Just keep up the good work and can't wait to see your next videos
Definitely sad to see the camp go, was one of the main reasons I subscribed to this channel, but I am excited to see what the future brings! Great video, guys.

Hey Mike. Thanks Man for all the content you share. Guys like you and Joe Robinet here in Canada have really inspired me to to get outdoors more and practice the skills that I used when I was younger... only a few years...lol. I have even given my Channel a restart to share my outings and hope I can count on your support. Just like yourself and Joe. I always have my Dog (Mollie) with me and she is more happy because she is with me on my adventures... Dads not lazy anymore Keep up the awesome work... Dennis
Merry Christmas to you both, I'm sure you have heard this many times, but charish the time you spend with your dad. We lost our dad a year ago and we were very much like the two of you, camping woodworking, and much fishing together.
#RIPBushcraftCamp
TA Outdoors great video bro! you’ve inspired me to make my own bushcraft channel! thanks bro!
TA Outdoors love the vids sm i started doing the same thing!
R. I.P. Bushcraft camp
R.I.P. bushcraft camp. From the first ridgepole to the fire reflector thanks Mike I have enjoyed watching you and your channel and I will take this as not goodbye but hello. Hello to new adventures and more excellent TA Outdoors videos 👍👍
@@HatchetSurvival Glad you enjoy them !
Your Dad 'riding' the "bucking bronco" (and I did say, BUCKING!) = PRICELESS!
still waiting for the riding bronco highlight reel......
I turned on subtitles to see what they would say. It agreed.

The next video should be you instructing your dad how to successfully edit Vlogs. That will be your greatest achievement over any bushcraft project.
Your Dad is so entertaining. It is so good to see a really genuine Father and Son relationship
old man is awesome!
He seems sad lately.
Dad is my kind of camper. I usually pack all but the kitchen sink. It’s nice to be cozy when sleeping. Especially camping.
I love the interaction between you and your dad - so nice to see you respecting your father and you both getting so much enjoyment out of completing simple tasks together. You are both lucky men to have each other.

Your dad is the man ! Merry Christmas.
Merry Chistmas Garry!
Your dad seems like an awesome guy. I would love to sit around a campfire and listen to the stories he has to tell.
Thank you BOTH for an exellent years entertainement. I hope both channels keep going on to better and better things. I wish You both and all your family a very merry chrismas and a wonderful new year. Good health and stay safe.

Thats to put my brain in!!! Hahaha!!!! Your dad is hilarious
Made me laugh when he said that!

I've never seen a father son video like this. I thoroughly loved it. Thank you!
I appreciate seeing you two together. Lost my dad 12 years ago and would have loved to do this with him.

USA fan of TA Outdoors - as always, appreciated son and father, their skills, and wonderful humor. One of the best out there. Thank you.
Nice to see father and son combo. I watch these with my old man. Best wishes Jim.
Your adventures with your dad are always a blast! Keep doing stuff together. Not only are you having fun and bonding, but it's fun to watch too.
I just lost my Dad. Time with loved ones is so valuable!!! Never take it for granted folks

This is brilliant, another great vid of human and nature in perfect harmony, thx TA
yeah, with bottled beer, brand-new tools, take-away food. PFF !
You and your dad = family goals.
The best part of all this has been watching you two goof around (a little), listening to the stories from Graeme, seeing your resourcefulness and skills improve and see you both spend time together. I can tell you treasure it. It's good for the soul.

It is a delight watching you two together...building, cooking and camping. Love the relationship you have.
Finally you dad joined you for an overnight in the woods. Glad he chose the cabin over the camp :P
Father and son a blessed moment.❤❤❤
Your dad is a gem, man. Found this channel about a year ago, catching up with all the vids. Love from Canada

Your Dad is amazing! And so are You! Thanks for the content.
I love watching you and your dad having so much fun together. Very cool thing to see. Thank you for sharing.
Time to revisit one of my favorites: you, your Dad, the Palletwood Cabin, and the end of the big camp complex.
Love how you maximized every aspect of your pallet cabin. I also must say i envy the relationship you have with your dad. Its wonderful how you guys get along so well.

Love watching you and Dad, so many great memories for you both!
Glad to have you and Dad together again ! Love 💕 these videos!
I love the rain hitting a metal roof, in fact I have a CD of rain on metal roofs, very relaxing.
A little piece of your history in the bushcraft camp. Best thing is you have the video forever. Looking forward to the new adventures and hope to see Graham quite often. Great job guys! Cheers.
Your dad’s a friggin riot 😂 i love y’all, you make these times I can’t get out into the woods myself FAR more tolerable.

Love your channel. You and your dad are so cool. Cherish these moments. Life is fast.
This style of shooting is fantastic. Never a moment of monotemy, something is constantly happening. Kudos.
I absolutely adore you and this channel. Loved seeing the fun friendship and activities you share with your dad. How lucky you are to have grown up with his adventure, spirit and sense of humor.
Wishing all the TA army a gr8 Christmas 🌲😉

Ur dad really is a true living legend lol with the best fishing show on RUclips 🐟
Bushcraft shelter or pallet cabin the ultimate bed and breakfast and that night-time entertainment.

Very calm and peaceful i can spend my entire life in there
Awesome man! You are very fortunate. It warms my heart to see you and your pops sharing quality time out in nature. Cheers to many more years of happiness to you both.

Funiest video yet. Love it. Laughed the whole time.
Can't wait for the new adventure Mike! I LOVE your Dad!
Oh how I’ve missed these type of videos. Like a breath of fresh air.
Great times with your dad, please enjoy. I lost my dad 20 years ago, we did similar things hunting. Do more with him.
What a special moment! I would love to do this with my father and/or my husband some time.
Father/son time. Sweet.

Great video, guys.
You and your dad make a great team!🙏
thanks for sharing with us.
Merry Christmas to you both and thank you so much for your amazing channels.
TA fishing and Outdoors are my favourite things to watch :)
What a journey! It is weird. Strange seeing it all gone - all that open space. But I've seen your new builds (as I am a latecomer to your vids) and I think it was a very good thing to do. I'm VERY GLAD you kept the playlist of the Bush Craft Camp build and put it in a playlist.
I think this has got to be the nth degree of recycling! So very wise. Cheers to you and your Dad.
Thanks so much guys for sharing your adventures with us and I look forward to the new...
May you both be blessed in your endeavours and in life in general.
Take care for now
I live in the US along the east coast actually and stumbled upon your channel. Can I say I have been binge watching just Wonderful! I love the energy between you and your Dad! Keep the videos coming you two have made my day and put a smile on my face!

That bushcamp was legendary
Your dad is hilarious ,good memories made, keep it up
Ur dad is awesome. Absolutely love the cabin
Grrreeeat entertainment...watching with a constant smile and laughing at your Dad and Miike laughing loud at your Dad in the cabin...your great followers lamenting with sentiment at the change in the Camp...choice of accomodation...the cabin is cosy safe and warm...the bushcraft shelter is great outside with fresh air and alertness...if solo...all good...just like your channels...cheers you have pulled another magic one Mr Pullens...Awesome, Totally...Merry Christmas...🎅
That breakfast was a feast! Love to see u guys having meals in the palletwood cabin!! Cosy feeling! :)
Merry Christmas and Happy NewYear to your whole family. I bet it is a riot when all of you get together. Enjoy.
Omg! I laughed so hard I cried when your Da was acting like a cowboy. That made my night!
I am an old guy but I still need new equipment to try to do new things: I have just started doing sous vide cooking; last year it was my first go at carving spoons and bowls. Each of those endeavors can be equipment-intensive. I really enjoy the G-stove/lantern composition early in this video. That just says 'cozy' and 'comfortable.'
Your dad makes me laugh. That's why I watch his fishing show. It's not for the fish, it's for the comedic factor. Great vid by both u guys. Enjoying from Georgia, USA
Mike I love it how your dad cracks you up 🤣👌 you got a ledge relationship. Good health to you both
Really enjoyed that episode...Your Dad is absolutely hilarious...you are truly blessed Mike to have such a great friend ..thank you for a great video

Hey Mike. Thanks Man for all the content you share.
