I am also in sixth class NCERT, don't go for tution and here is a routine I follow for each and every chapter:
1) Read the chapter from textbook thoroughly before school teacher explains in class.
2) Pay attention in class when the school teacher explains that chapter.
3) Watch online video lecture of the same chapter from any youtube channel, I recommend Magnet Brains.
4) Write short notes while listening the online video lecture, short notes are basically important points of any chapter and you should write them in maximum 2 pages. They are perfect for revising chapter.
4) Teach the chapter like a teacher in my imaginary world or to anyone who is intrested.
5) Revise from the short notes.
