I gave the show an honest watch. Its not terrible, but its nowhere near as good as HOTD, and it doesn't stay even remotely true to the source material. They butchered the depictions of Numenoreans so much, and made Galadriel/Sauron into a thing when it really wasn't. Just bizarre script choices.
No problem with a black elf. Gnomes and Goblins do however need to be green or yellow. Never watched a Jodie Whitiker Dr Who episode and would not watch a Black or Female Bond.......nor would I watch a White Martin Luther King or a male Wonder Woman. Would simply turn off the TV or not go to the Cinema.
