In celebration of its ten-year anniversary, PilotsEYE.tv dedicates this newest and longest entry of the series (2:30h running time + 60min bonus) to the education and training of those that have made the documentary series into such a success: the pilots.
Fans of the series may already be familiar with flight captain and SWISS fleet chief Thomas Frick from the episode “Shanghai - Engine Overheat", showing a real emergency for the very first time. In their latest episode, PilotsEYE.tv accompanies their old acquaintance on a four-day-trip to Sunshine State Florida.
Following an eventful flight across the Atlantic, Cpt. “Thomi” and his charming copilot Jennifer Knecht, are picked up by the chief instructors of SWISS air academy and treated to a "Beach run", a low-level flight along the Miami beach on their way to Vero-Beach.
Before joining them on their visit with the next generation of SWISS pilots, however, the audience is in for a special treat, with the unique chance to witness the entire pushback process from the perspective of the front landing gear, followed by super-slow-motion shots of the take-off and landing in Zurich, Switzerland.

PilotsEYE.tv neue Episode - PilotsEYE.tv zeigt in dieser Jubiläumsfolge (10 Jahre PiltosEYE.tv) einen Flug in die Ausbildungsschmiede der SWISS Piloten nach Florida.
Nach den Folgen San Francisco, La Palma, AirLounge und Shanghai habe ich mir zu Weihnachten die neue Folge gegönnt.
Tolle Aufnahmen, teilweise auch in Zeitlupe. Neben Cpt. Thomas Frick eine sehr sympathische Jennifer Knecht als Co-Pilotin.
Diesmal wurde weniger geflirtet (siehe Shanghai-Folge), aber dafür gab es u.a. eine „Traffic Warning“ und Gewitter mit Blitz beim Start von Miami. Klasse Aufnahmen von Miami-Beach und ein sehr interessantes Interview mit Cpt. Frick (mittlerweile auch in voller Länge im RUclips-Kanal von pilotsEYEtv). Die beiden sind wirklich sehr sympathisch!
Fazit: diese Folge zum Jubiläum ist der Hammer! Kaum noch zu toppen!

I'm Oscar Mesen from San José Costa Rica, AC. I live in Escazú, a small town like all of my country at the foot of mountains that surround the capital of Costa Rica, San José. In these days of December 2018 vacation I set out to watch youtube airline flights and I blissfully met this channel where I found among other professional pilots this beautiful Jenny Knecht. You can see from the same videos and part of its history its professionalism, intelligence and dedication. You have gained one more admirer and I wish you much success in this beautiful profession. I flew 280 hours by small airplane in an amateur way but in these directions the aviation is a little expensive, so I am now dedicated to FPV flights with UAVs, drones, hillside gliders, etc. I will be aware of your channel, take care of yourself a lot and I hope some day to know you.

Going to Australia to learn English sounds like a contradiction in terms. Many people think they/we speak a "different" English. Then again, if you can understand them/us you would be fluent anywhere. You probably picked up some expressions no one else could understand. Having said that, your lessons seem to be working. Well done. I wish I could speak German as well. Or even at all!
Many go to the USA or to Ireland, to learn englis, which is even more a contradiction in terms. :-)
