CTC in 2022: Looking back and looking ahead

On 28 September 2001, in the wake of the 11 September attacks in the United States, the Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 1373 (2001) under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, establishing the Counter-Terrorism Committee and defining a broad counter-terrorism mandate for the international community.
