- There's no easy way to say this... Something stinks at Church’s Chicken on Rainbow Boulevard and Robindale Road. At least it did on June 9 when the restaurant was shut down for a sewage backup.
Reminds me eating at home is better. 🤮
I will never come back to that church's chicken location. The wait time and customer service are horrible.
I've worked at a church's chicken and we never (while I was working there) changed the cooking oil the food was cooked with old oil. so nothing surprises me about the stuff that happens at church's chicken
60 demerits and still have an A grade ! Goes to show the health grade means nothing !

You're nuts if you think all chefs wear gloves, the only time a glove is really required is if you have some sort of injury on your hands.
Health Code would say otherwise. Food handlers should be using gloves with food “Ready to Serve”, meaning cooked foods or raw fruits and vegetables that are about to be served.
The Sam's club on rainbow and 215 has a couple of isles that have smelled like raw sewage for about 3 years straight now.

Church's Chicken I think they need updates looks make a difference. Clean up on the out side of the building as well as sanitizing keep Safe cleaning area and handling of the food on the inside is important. I went to one in Detroit and rode right thru, hanging molded part of the building was falling down sickening!!

yes the one in our county got shut down b/c flies were always on the food they had sitting out under the light & that was a long time ago i haven’t had church’s in a long time i do miss their cajun rice
