This shakes me to my core and makes me grieve at my own sin of selfishness. God, please help my lack of priorities and to fixate on your goodness and sharing of your gospel rather than my mere earthly reputation.
Being His witness is the #1 thing we are called to do, yet 95% of believers go their entire life without ever sharing the gospel. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank You OH so much for this, it put a face on my in trepidation and it is true, I don't "actively" evangelize at work and school, other places, for the reason you mentioned, and one other. I think most of us want to "liked" were we go as we interact with others. Most of my fellow coworkers, in my department know I am a Christian. I am trying to be a leader as I raise the standard when it comes to the subject matter of conversations that is brought up and foul language, also when I hear God's name as a curse word, I do let them know it isn't right and it offends me. But I believe that God has placed on me a few people that he knows are ready to deeper and serious with them, and he has placed them in my path so they can be saved. Please pray for me as I do what God wants me to do. No Excuses, their eternal place is at stake!

The humility in this story, even though it came with a bit of humor, was why I do appreciate what Jeff Durbin is doing for The Kingdom.

Does the Lord forgive us when we repent over failing to share the gospel?? I have times of boldness but also times I give into fear. I hate that
I know this is an old comment, but want to reply maybe you will see it or maybe it will help someone else. I totally understand how you feel. I've had moments of boldness and moments, like today, when I gave in to fear. It truly does make you wonder will God forgive you. But we have to remember the word of God: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
@@jr8694 your comment just helped me, as today I went to hand out some gospel tracts to people but fear came over me at the last minute and I fled.

I am called to preach but i when i get ampted to speak to somone i retreat back to myself at times and try to avoid the situation
when I do evangelize, God uses me in a big way I can see he wants me to do this
5:05 this similar thing happened to me! I was also getting my haircut and the guy cutting my hair was a homosexual, he starts telling me about how it’s wrong for people to judge gay people and how he believes in equal choice rights and whatnot, AS HE’S CUTTING MY HAIR!!! I said nothing to him about what I thought when I should’ve, I pray that God gives me wisdom and empowerment to speak up next time.
Next time ask him why it's ok for him to judge? Isn't he doing exactly what he condemning others for?

How precious is the molding of the Lord in this man's life to bring His spirit forth to Minister with awareness and keenness to be able to respond in such Stellar ways. Fathers love coming forth.. A sound person in Christ? Yes. Sound in Doctrine. Holy Spirit leading the way. He gets out of Fathers way and Jesus lives. Beautiful

Great explanation! I have been feeling this so much lately. I am fearful of what others will think of me more than my love for them and their salvation. God has shown me this but its not easy to put it into action. We cannot do this in our own strength. Jesus said He is the vine and we are the branches outside of Him we can do nothing John 15. I continue to pray and do my best to lean into Christ and undertand that it is not about me. Its all about Jesus. Fear is a terrible obstacle but i know love will overcome if I/we persevere. God will open doors, God will make a way and God will use those of us who genuinely want to put ourselves aside and glorify Him! Now if I can just say this to others and live this😂😂. Its easy to type it out😂😂. God bless everyone. May we seek God with all our hearts and look to glorify Him!

Interesting as he went through the 10 Commandments, he mentioned 9 of them. He didn’t state the Forth Commandment , which most Christians have non-scripturally accepted by tradition the change of the day.

Calm down hiroller. It's a pretty obvious concern of a lot of people that can clearly see the issue with the day change and want to go to church but hate that it is Sunday and not sabbath.

Free grace is the only true gospel.
Something I fear is that I don’t feel confident in my ability to clearly explain the gospel or they ask a question I can’t answer. I’m not a good communicator and my confidence in my knowledge is low.
True love is not we loving God and our neighbour, true love is that God has loved us and if we believe it then it produces love toward our neighbour. If you have lack of love, the answer is not you producing it by your willpower but the answer is you believing what God has done for you and now you have love inside that must be transmitted to others. If you hate your neighbour you don't know the grace of God and you ought to get born again.
That's cute but sometimes you do have to actively love or love when u don't feel like it

Note also that this one is the MOST HIGH. Thus if ones God is associated with multiple co'equals (e.g the Trinitarian Jesus) . He is not the Lord JEHOVAH.

I didn't know that. That's the payment of his effort for the ministry.
When someone uses God's holy name in vain, OMG.. Jesus Christ and such.. that is your easiest opportunity ever to share the gospel with that person, they just revealed their need to hear it and already began the conversation.. just say what about God? What about Jesus?? Since you brought him up, do you know him? I know him personally, anyone can.. they are already engaged in conversation, now you can share the good news
I don't fear evangelism, I laugh at it as I do all the other religious cults.
He starts with love of god and love of neighbor then he talks about goin to a public place and de-humanizing people over your “beliefs”. This is the exact contradictions that plague your good book. How about you preach, to like minded people, in your own church instead of picking a public fight and then say “see look, these sinners are so mad, that proves their the devil”. Imagine the beneficiary “good” you could do at a soup kitchen or the pediatric cancer ward, but unfortunately that seems to ask to much of these extremists
You are absolutely wrong about the law. The Law is a testimony against us. It fulfilled in Christ, and taken out of the way.
