I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown
Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with Melissa Terri Swayne for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.
Appreciate this recommendation, hopefully I can get some insight to where the market is headed and strategies to beat the downtrend with when I hear back from Melissa.
Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios from the last part of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
I would say you should choose between Vanguard ETFs VOO and VTI, I would select only one of these, instead of keeping both. Also, you may considering lowering your % of positions, perhaps around 10% and reallocate the remaining into the S&P or TSM (which everyone you choose to keep out of the 2). This should give more momentum to your US stock holdings and get you out of the red.
Very true, you can be passively involved in the markts and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.

Sure. There are a lot of independent advisors you might look into. But I only work with Camille Anne Hector and we have been working together for nearly four years. I am SO THANKFUL and SSO BLESSED to have met her! She's well-grounded and known, shouldn't be a hassle finding her page online..

Jeremyy, I bought me some TSLA, PYPL and SOFI last month. Investors are preaching buy the dip, some are selling without a concern should I too? I am asking because after a pretty good run Q1. I am up to 251k from 180k at the beginning of Q1 thanks to the likes of AMD and TSMC.

Yes, it can also be brought down to the fact that Investors will make the same error, in reverse, when inflation and interest rates start to come down. That’s why a foundation of a major buy signal should currently being built.
Do your research and always speak with an advisor before putting your money in these crazy markets. Look online or around you for experienced ones, I can’t let someone who hasn’t lived through at least one depression give me advice.

seek professionals support not some very cool and semi-knowledgeable guy on RUclips. Personally, I gather information on RUclips but verify with Stacey Macken . If it doesn't align with her report, I avoid getting involved. This way i've been able to save a lot of money while making a lot of money..

I Working at a large north east auto auction and I can agree with Jeremy. I handle the Tesla account for arrival and costs involved in transporting their inventory. Tesla is cuttinggg! It’s at the point we are getting pushed at the corporate level to lower cost for Tesla but keep the same level of service if not better at a lower cost, it’s insane but being that Tesla is a large business partner for this large location, selling trade ins and teslas they sell like hot cakes !! The auction fees are mighty fine for the company and they don’t want to lose that. So we are bending backwards for Tesla

How are they gonna do a rate hike when Japan's currency is going down the toilet? Japan holds the greatest number of US bonds. Japan will be forced to start getting rid of those US bonds. That will send bond prices soaring. That will cause people to sell the stock market to buy bonds and let their money sit in guaranteed bonds with high rates.
