    Hi Dr!
    I have been recently diagnosed with osteoporosis in my left hip so I am doing your exercises and starting to feel a difference in my mobility. I practised yoga for a long time so I recognise some of your exercises, but I am taking my time and not rushing to do too many repetitions.
    Many thanks .

      @suzimonkey345 2 года назад +1

      Hi! No doctor will ever tell you what to do without meeting you in real life & diagnosing you. They can get in legal trouble if they get in wrong!
      Do you live in the USA or another really expensive country for medical care? Have you had an MRI? it’s really important but I understand if you live in a country without free healthcare! An MRI will reveal what’s causing your pain…then you will know your options & what you should NOT do.
      If you’ve just got occasional pain or have just started getting ‘twinges’ in your lower back I really advise you to stay healthy, don’t carry extra weight (your spine has to carry every extra pound!), & exercise for strong core muscles. Avoid activities that are rough on your back like carrying heavy things, rough & tumble sports, jumping etc. I live with horrible pain 24/7 & wish that I’d taken better care of myself when I was young!
      I’ve had chronic lower spine/back issues for decades!! ALL of the surgeons I’ve ever seen said NEVER allow a chiropractor to treat you if there is something structural wrong with your spine. I know that some swear by chiropractors but I’ve known people who have been permanently damaged!! 😳
      GENTLY exercising & keeping strong “core muscles” (stomach/tummy etc) really helps because those muscles support your spine. Search for proper “Physical Therapy Exercises” for lower spine pain. Doing the wrong exercises can be very BAD! Never do anything that jolts your spine (jumping, running etc)
      Hot “Epsom Salts” (magnesium) baths really help me.
      Does your back hurt all the time? Do you get ‘shooting pain’ down your legs? If it’s a serious problem for you there are many prescriptions that a doctor can try you on. There are also different medical procedures & even surgeries that can be tried if an MRI shows that your spine is damaged.

    Hello Dr Andrea, thank you for the good work your are doing. My wife slipped on a stair case and landed on her joint kneel with a twisted ankle. In pain she went to the hospital in Ghana and after x'ray the doctor surprisingly explained that it was arthritis (never mentioned anything about the fall). Some pain killers were given though, the pain has still becomes severe with complains from the Kneel joint, we have tried with other ointments but still no solution. Would you kindly recommend some prescriptions or some work out for her please? Thank you.

    Thanks! What test would be needed to find out if I suffer from inflammation?
    Also, if I wake up with lower back feeling stiff and my fingers are swollen , is this an indication for inflammation?
    Thank you 😃😃😃

    When in z position I am laying on pain and makes it worse. Heat makes it worse. I get relief after sleeping and when I wake up. I get up and go to kitchen and starts my agony again. I can not get any relief no matter what I do. MRI showed disc bulge L3-4. Dr did L5-S1 epidural with slight relief. Mild degenerative disc dz and one level of stenosis. Diagnosed many years ago with fibro. Currently 63. Walking and sitting makes it worse. New pain doctor took me off Lyrica. I have burning stinging pain in legs feet and now fingers. I have gained 15 pounds. Quit smoking a 1.5 year ago. Having trouble losing any weight. I am in pure agony. I have pain at or just below gluteal fold worse on one side. I take D3 and b12. I am allowed norco 7.5. I need some help desperately. After about 6 weeks after lyrics this is worse. So joints have been injected.

      Also showed gluteal minimus partial tendon tears that docs are ignoring. I retired from nursing because I couldn't do it anymore. Skin just burns. Worse afternoon and on.

    The only thing that has completely relieved my Chronic lower back pain has been Cannabis!
    I prefer not to smoke it, but in a state where it is illegal, that is the main form I can find it in. I would prefer tinctures.
    I have Degenerative disk disease, OsteoArthritis and Bone spurs (plus bone spurs pinching on nerves, and nerve damage causing loss of feeling in both thighs) in several areas of my back.
