BLACK GLASS - If System Of A Down wrote 'Schwarzes Glas' by Rammstein

Today we're trying out a Rammstein Song sang by Serj (lead vocals) and Daron (backing vocals) from System of a Down. The song "Schwarzes Glas" is originally from Rammstein and has been translated/adapted into english for this very specific version here. All vocals were done by B.Blackwood. We're no native speakers so please excuse the accent, haha.

Before this goes live, here's how I would translate it, while keeping rhyming patterns (as a native English speaker and a decent German speaker):

The line "vor der Mitte tiefer Fall" was very difficult to get a good-sounding English translation of, this is the best I could come up with. Curious to see how much this pans out to yours.

Hey there, thanks for the input :) We kinda went with a mix between the 1994 and 1996 version of the lyrics and also came up with a few of our own lines to get some somewhat decent rhymes (except for the chorus which has no rhymes):
