Milwaukee has so much to offer, and this video covers it all! The pros and cons really help give a balanced view, especially for those considering a move. As movers based in Wisconsin, we know firsthand how important it is to find the right city for your lifestyle - and Milwaukee has something for everyone. Thanks for breaking it down so well!
Milwaukee has a LOT of great companies, festivals, activities and very few neighborhoods I'd EVER want to live in. That being said, most of the suburbs of Milwaukee are FANTASTIC, especially when you get into lake country in western Waukesha county.
Hi Thank you for your input, I always enjoy visiting Milwaukee and love all the neighborhoods, I find all of them friendly, Recently visited a Hispanic Bakery and she gave me the Baked good " A little Piggy" because I didn't have cash on me!
@@wheretolivewisconsin I agree there are nice people in every neighborhood. There are also not so nice people. As a real estate agent with people on this video talking about moving to Milwaukee, you’d be doing people a disservice making everything seem great. My opinion is only my opinion: I don’t want to live in the city proper; BUT most areas (not all) are perfectly safe to live in.
We’re moving from CA and we’re so scared. We love our home but we’ve been forcibly pushed out by corporate greed and poor management. We’re looking for a safe place to land and raise our family. We’re looking at bay view neighborhood!
Hi Hayley, If you want to privately message me your contact information or email me chrissiamof@gmail.com I will connect you with someone I trust, perhaps they can help you find a rental too!, let me know a little more about your house needs thanks
When you settle in, just remember you’re not in California anymore. I live in Texas and too many Californians move here and want to make it exactly like Cali. It’s not Cali. You left Cali for a reason. Leave the negatives in Cali .
Thank you for the video. My wife and I are looking into moving around Milwaukee. Specifically Milwaukee county for our kids, job opportunities, and better quality of life. We're currently residents of SC and looking to leave in a few years.
I come from Germany and would really like to emigrate to the USA, which I will probably do in the future and Wisconsin is my dream state because, as I see it, it has similar four seasons to Germany and gives a neutral impression and I am a Harley Davidson fan 😊 👍
Whitefish Bay isn’t in Waukesha County and I believe Ozaukee County is the most expensive county. Could be wrong on that, but Whitefish Bay isn’t in Waukesha County.
WOW....SOS... Born and raised in M'waukee... Southside and borderline West Allis. I've lived in CA and the last 10 years in LA. I'm looking for somewhere to retire and my heart strings are calling me home but not sure just where ... Sooo much has changed since I moved in 1976. Not looking to buy a house ... can you advise ..... Thank You so much ...
Thinking about moving to milwaukee WI. Is it still cold like many years ago I was there it used to be very cold . How is the weather now in winter ,How is the job market . Any info
@@wheretolivewisconsin For now, just something cheap, under $800 a month for a studio or one bedroom. Offstreet parking and laundry on the premises. Near 41 & 96.

I guess it depends on what amenities you want near by.
@wheretolivewisconsin well...not rural because I'm 70....so I guess an area that is safer with shopping, restaurants, community life....
Somehow im missing that part of milwaukee, lived here 60yrs....thanks for sharing your vid
What else can I share on Milwaukee?
Just watch the milwaukee news and you will think twice about moving there.
How about good areas to live 20-30 minutes outside of the city? Any good suburban areas? Maybe Waukesha?
waukesha is a great suburban area
Whitefish Bay, used to be on the east side of Milwaukee. It is now in Waukesha, west of the city. Was there a landslide???
Mistakes on my part.. Glad you are paying attention
@@wheretolivewisconsin sorry for poking a bit of fun. We all make mistakes. Me more than most
I’m from Indianapolis , I’m planning to move there for when I go to college
Welcome, I'm sure you will love Wisconsin

TWo months of cold, some winters not a lot of snowfall. Lots of job allow you to work remote or hybrid, great redevelopment in Third ward
Thank you for the content!
any city you want covered? thank you for watching
How are the smaller cities like La Crosse or Bangor for a POC?
I find Midwesterners very welcoming & friendly
Moving to Appleton in 3 weeks! Apartment renting before I buy. All the neighborhoods good?
Appleton is very safe, if you want a neighborhood atmosphere or be closer to amenities?

I live in Milwaukee 12yrs now. I encourage families to look where Milwaukee ranks for violent crimes in the US before moving here.
Isn’t there an “L” in Milwaukee??
What about job market?
unemployment in milwaukee is lower than national average, 3.3, 8 Fortune 500 companies, strong commitment to city revitatlization
Is it easy to get jobs in milwaukee for international students
good to hear
So, do you pronounce Milwaukee as MIL Wauk ee or Ma wauk ee?
MIL wauk ee
I want to visit here so bad
🤦♂️
Whitefish bay is not in Waukesha county
OOPS! Someone already told me thanks!
Why would anyone move here? 😂
Because is beautiful ❤ Come to Arizona here it really sucks!
Because its a lot worse in many other cities in America
it's tough to say that about a place that, I'm guessing, you haven't spent any significant amount of time in....if ANY time at all.
