Well, indeed, they made video's. Even This Charming Man already had a promo video. But for example the videos of TCM and The Boy With the Thorn In His Side are very down-to-earth, just showcasing the band (except for Girlfriend in a Coma, Stop Me and Ask).

Well, music means the world to Morrissey. So anything that goes at cost (is that proper English?) of the music is, for him, dangerous.
