I was recommended these tutorials by a friend as being the clearest and most concise on You Tube. I fully agree. I have found your methodology and comprehensive and concise teaching extremely easy to follow. You have sorted out so many of the difficulties I was encountering with starting to learn Solid Edge. Thank you. I am now looking forwards to gradually working through all of your following posts.
Great tutorial !!!! At the beginning I felt a bit overwhelmed to start Solid Edge as I am not an engineer but thanks to your clear instructions, sir, I feel confident to be able to master it little by little. Thank you sir Seif.
Excellent tutorial. Straight to the point. No wasting time, you are the best teacher not a single detail was missed, I have already followed many computer courses for my work and this is a really good course ;-) Congratulations!
Hello Mr Edge King. I have folowed many courses on different subjects, and know when I hit an excelent tutor. Many when teaching for vbeginners, tend to skip very important steps. You are excelent.
Thank you for the introduction to Solid Edge. You made everything seem so simple. I look forward to starting with it. I will be looking for other’ videos you make for further instruction.
Thank you so much for the video, I’m a computer engineer but I was looking to learn this , and you made it so easy. God bless you & thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Tank you, an excellent tutorial !! The sketch is all coloured in even the holes why is this? Can the colour be removed? Also does Solid Edge have have layers?
Thank you so much . I downloaded the free 2 cad and the community version of solide edge to practice . And with your video . Finally i can go straight to the point of drawning 3 d
Good tutorial! Slowly going through all of them. I was using Fusion 360, but since it was kripled by Autodesk by limiting local saving and export (+ a few other things), I was searching for a replacement for it and I found Solid Edge Community edition and I love it! Thank You for Your tutorial!
Thank you for the comment. To answer your qestion, I am developing my own tutorials but in the future I am planning on having a public link of all my work.
Good morning sir. May I ask you how you have the little window that is horizontal selected? It is where you put the numbers. You moved it out of your way in the video. I have version 2023 and I get a box to do the same. I like your layout. Thanks in advance and I look forward to learning Solid edge with you. Ok...Ok...I found my answer. It will not be allowed now with 2023 update. Bummer.
I am glad you were able to find your answer, In my experience, I had the same issue, but with time I got used to the new format and it does not bother me now.
There is no need for that and I don't have an access to AUTO CAD. Use save as to save your file in a format that is acceptable by the other software. My students were able to move files between three different software (Solid Works, Creo, and Solid Edge) without any difficulties. Good luck.
If the dimension is colored red, this means that it is an independent dimension and you can change it at the expense of the blue-colored dimension. Blue color represents the dependent dimension (whatever is left once you assign the independent dimensions) and you cant edit this dimension unless you change one of the other dimensions and Solid Edge automatically will adjust this dimension.
@@drmseif thanks for clarifying this, I used to buy books to learn a new program, but these are quickly outdated. I'm going to do all your exercises, and I'm making very fast progress now! thanks
One of the most concise and helpful footage on RUclips. Thank you sir

nice tutorial. Thank you. 1 question my smart dimension menu is different than yours. Yours is just a floating ribbon. how to change?
Thank you so much for the feedback. To answer your question, this will depend on the version you have. This video was done with the old version.

Your last polygon became of center after you changed dimension.
how come when i make a rectangle the lines aren't connected. If i use smart dimension to try and move the rectangle nothing happens.
muchas gracias por esto

Sir please make video to export solid edge model to AutoCAD (dxf file).

Thank you 😊
can you explain to me why one dimension is blue and the other is colored red? sometimes i can't turn this one to red!
thank you!
