One of the greatest bands of all time. Every member is insanely talented. Tim Charles’ voice is gorgeous and Xenoyr’s is hauntingly brutal. And even though it’s extreme metal you can still hear the bass.

Where white doves fall as hammers
And the wilted horses dream of lions
To the crashing shores, hooves through bloodied tears
    Rising red rosarium
    Blossoming choirs
    Beatitudes of the endless end
    Where white doves fall
    White doves fall as hammers
And the wilted horses dream of lions
Of the drapery, moth grey veils
    Where the black winds rage
    This is our end design
    The war on all life
    Of our mindless vessels
    Death we breathe
    Life's demise, mechanized end design
    Far beyond our humanity
    Our end design
To be erased from all time
Through the shadow of the valley of death
    We bathe in blood
He saturnine spheres of fluttering wings
    Dusted wombs
Upon the ebbing auras, they feed
    Drawn to life
    Burning moths, we've set free
    Illuminate the way
    Across killing fields, once golden
    What have we done?
    What have we done?
One last time, upon the threshold
    In our hands vultures wheel
As time swings the great pendulum
    Dawn of the industrial dirge
    Where pilgrims sing our fate
No more chances, are we too late?
    Exiled voices
    All of the one tongue
Words of extinction, chorus of truth
    Life's demise, mechanized end design
    Far beyond our humanity
    Our end design
To be erased from all time
Through the shadow of the valley of death
    The same blood

@Sci-Fi Weekly Definitely "And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope" I don't know how they got a violin on top of a drum solo to sound so freaking good, but they did--which is why that song is my favourite from them. "Painters of the Tempest Pt II" "As Icicles Fall" "Upon The Tongue of Eloquence" (this one's a little hard to find, as it's on an unreleased EP, "Sarabande to Nihil"). Any NeO song's a good time. Sporebubu well, depends on taste, and actually, since I wrote that comment, I've actually taken a liking to this song. It's just that, compared to the other albums, Urn just doesen't have those small, different details that make it stand out. Portal had a certain (strong) feel to it, Citadel had another (still strong) feel to it, but Urn seems have ever so slightly given up on some of the uniqueness, making it a little blander. Either way, that's my opinion, and as you said, they're still all overall great.

I'm just happy we have such amazing art by these guys that we can even compare it to itself. Nobody else is like them!

Really cool song, but am I the only one that thinks blast beats aren't _that_ great? Don't get me wrong, in some riffs there's definitely something nice with having some bursts of blasting, but when theres too much its just a bit too "busy" for me

Is it just distracting for you or something?

The singer voice isn't good for the album for me. The growler is so good that seems edited. About the instruments, i really just like the drumming ant the beggining of the sound.
But there is a truth. This is godly, but my ears aren't prepared.
    Cheers from brazil

I felt the same about the clean vocals when I first listened to it back then. It grew on me little by little. Great band.

I love this album as a whole, but I can’t help but feel the drums are too abrasive compared to their other work? Don’t get me wrong, I still love the drums here. But the bass kick blasts beating through, nearly endlessly, on this track is distracting. I enjoy a good blast beat, but whew boy.

The drums are very loud at times on this album, especially with my earbuds. Album is amazing, but the drum mix is pretty inconsistent.
