The interesting thing is that one for all came about because it's first bearer had an unknown quirk that no-one could recognise; now that we know that, it's kind of inevitable that we find out Deku was never actually quirkless.

First of all, All for One+One for All is the obvious top choice, but second to that I would say Dark Shadow combined with either Half-Cold, Half-Hot or Creation. Both of these quirks could potentially adjust the light in the surrounding area to both boost Dark Shadow and keep it in check, as well as providing close range support (covering the weakness exploited by Ectoplasm to fight Tokoyami), and make things harder for opponents at range, having to deal with Dark Shadow and an entirely different person together.
That implies the quirk itself is even more powerful and has way more potential than he uses it. The video is about the power of the quirks alone. If it is that useful then I think even more it deserves the #3 spot.

Twig guy true but I feel like because he hasn’t mastered his quirk he should be lower. In the hands of someone very skilled I see his quirk easily being top 4 or 3
Twig guy overhaul doesn’t even like to get his hands dirty so wdym???? He by no means has an aptitude for fighting like all might or eraser head... he was literally getting WHOOPED by togata ... someone with one of the weakest quirks out there. But the difference is togata is a fighter who has honed his skills like all might, eraser head etc. if overhaul showed as much refined ability as someone like them then he’d probably be unstoppable. He can’t even neutralize his quirk without using gloves.... yet that sounds skilled to you. Crazy.
All for One is stronger than One for All. *Spoiler* All for One was battling multiple top ranked heroes at the same time and almost beat them. It took a suicidal move AND an Outplay from All Might to beat him plus All For One must be over 200 years old and his health must be in a terrible state.

I think the quirk would be powerful now since he has his Ultimate Move "Black Abyss" which gives him more physical strength. It shows how well it works in the anime aswell.
I don't see how bakugou is stronger than overhaul. He's battle smart and clever and his explosions are powerful but I can't see him beating overhaul in a one on one
Remember overhaul can't exactly fight. For example that fight with midoriya he did the same shit over and over again. Then only thing that really made him a threat was fusing with his underlings. Bakugou uses his quirk alot better than he does

too obvious, Pop Off would be no. 1 In all seriousness though we don't know the quirks of like half of class 1B so it wouldn't be fair and most of them are outclassed by Explosion, HCHH(todoroki's quirk) and One for All, the only one that could rival them is the Quirk Copy
you should check out My Hero Academia: Vigilante. it is a spin of of my hero academia that occurs before the events in the anime and focuses on Vigilantes. It also has characters from My hero Academia like Ingenium before he gets in his big accident and stain when he was still a vigilante named Stendhal.
I think it has potential to be a crazy strong quirk though, we assume that eventually Tokoyami will be able to master it even during the night making it's only weakness light. Hell, it took down a villain that had both Bakugo and Todoroki on the defensive in one or two hits (I can't be bothered to check). Obviously we don't KNOW that he can master it, but I think he can and once he does you should make a new list.
What I dont understand about One For All is HOW it transfers quirks. If All Might gave it to Todoroki, and Todoroki passed it on to whoever, the person who it got passed to would have both the Fire & Ice AND the strength, or just the strength?
ps you can have one for all and another quirk even if people say the all for one is stronger one for all rivals and destroys the limits of this quirk which you can use even 1000% of your power its like a kiaoken 10X
Solid list for sure. I would have added Kirishima's hardening and Tetsutetsu's steel as an honorable mention. They're simple and have a ton of room for growth (such as Kirishima's recent unbreakable form).
hello fellow BNHA watchers/reader, as a fan I have made my own imaginary character, his quirk is something I made up and please tell me what you all think of it. I'm trying not to make it to broken, but at the same time op QUIRK NAME: Spirit detachment ABILITY: The user is able to partially detach his inner being from the body, he is able to be in a form which allows him to materialize and land attacks, but he can also let attacks through. Although, the user still has a bit of his being still attached to his body, because if he detaches all the way, he will not be able to go back to his body and will have to roam the spirit realm for eternity (A.K.A. he will die). The only way to defeat this quirk is to attack the body, if the body is attacked then it will affect the spirit body and will detach. The user can overcome this by A: keeping the body suspended in air next to him (sort of like if you've watch Hunter x Hunter, how pitou is controlled by her puppet) B: possess the enemy's body and take control of their being. In this state, all the quirks that belong to the owner of the body can now be controlled by him. He can also gather information by going through the body's owner's consciousness.
Ryan Cokus I just want to clarify before I make any comments, the spirit cannot detach from the original body, so it has to be touching it at all times? If so, how would the possession work? You might want to change it to the person being able to detach from their body for a limited amount of time, or make it so that they can only detach it to a certain range.
Sahil Patil Maybe when he controls another person he is technically capable of using that body as his own and can switch the original body's owner to the spirit guys body, when the enemy is in spirits body they have no quick and are basically just a normal human.
As a roleplayer the quirk seems a bit iffy, you said you basically die if he leaves the body, how did he find out of his quirk, it's not a good quirk but thats my opinion

It's limitation lessons it's viability, as a powerful quirk while great it on its own cannot defeat a opponent with a powers that are on there body without the scarf thing, and if he blinks it goes away, so while being strong he could not defeat someone like Gang Orca.

Imagine if a nice person got a quirk that involved blood, like Toga or Stain's quirks. What if they hadn't become villains. If they were heroes, the public probably wouldn't like them bc of their creepy quirks
All for one giving powers doesn't make someone a noumu its just that normal people can't handle the quirk so the noumus are made in a lab specifically so they can handle multiple quirks being given
My favorite character from Avatar the Last Airbender is Azula. Even though she is an antagonist, she is the most intriguing character. She is very manipulative; but when her friends betrayed her, she becomes more human like. The time she seemed most human was when her father manipulated her into staying behind to become Fire Lord. And when she talked to her mother in the mirror. My favorite scene was when she tried flirting with Chan on Ember Island. My reason for mentioning her is because she reminds me of Todoroki's father.
Yeah it OP too but the reason is it only takes 10 minutes to hard the body and if go harder the body is getting hard so much it only takes 30-40 seconds to use it

Can you make a video ranking the characters based on how well they used their quirks even with their weaknesses. In my opinion, two candidates for best uses are Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka (Who I ship together.) Izuku Midoriya because even when he couldn't control his quirk, he still found ways to use it. Also, even with 5%, he is still quite strong. Ochaco because she fought very well against Katsuki Bakugo, and she showed a lot of determination and creativity. And she did that without advice for Midorya.
You forget that he is already ranked as having one of the most powerful quirks. The fact that he is in the list at all shows how well he at using his quirk. Which of course means it is self evident that he would be a candidate for a list of characters that use their quirks effectively. Remember A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun? Toma Kamijo was able to defeat two of the strongest esters in Academy City. And he is classified as a level 0 esper, meaning that he should technically not have an ability. He has an ability called Imagine Breaker. It negates and cancels out all supernatural forces. It is not effective against physical attacks. Also, it's limited to just his right hand. Most esper abilities seem to be based on how effective they would be on non-espers, and on there range and physical influence. Toma is clearly under classified, just like how many people aren't put into the hero course because there quirks aren't effective in fighting robots. Even though he is a low ranked Esper, he has fought against very powerful people and won against most of them. (Of course, he ends up in the hospital for most of them. Remember, he isn't strong against physical attacks or magic that doesn't touch him, like when he lost his arm.)

GoldG Roblox Deku has to willingly pass on One For All in order for someone to get it. The author might have given Stain his Quirk and made it work the way it does just to bring that up.

I definitely disagree with one for all being #1 due to the fact that the quirk has been passed down 8 times making there 9 users which is why it's "stronger" even though it isn't necessarily. Also All for One hasn't said anything about making someone brainless when giving them the quirk but they had to turn them into a Nomu so they can use the quirk but it makes them brainless

Let's look at that, stockpiling power. As we've learned from nomus shock absorption having a limit as to not be nullification, quirks are very specific. I believe what makes one for all really special is that it does NOT have to release anything it stockpiles. That's why the passing on quirk melds so well, after 8 generations, strength, intelligence (all might scored a 6 out of 5 for intelligence on the exam), agility, and even hints of the users personalities have all stockpiled and resulted in the strongest quirk of all. Also, almight himself proves this. He does NOT look like his weaker form, his "buff" form is what he used to look like before the injury. He taps into his power stockpiles to gain not only his peak physical form but the added power of the quirk gained through generations of use.
Girls have the ability to suck men dry of happiness, money, energy and well.. bodily liquids, namely blood, amirite? 13s quirk amplifies that ability so that it sucks absolutely everything, making 13 a girl, definitely.
He said specifically that they didn't use anyone who was strong because of their skillful use of the quirk and Mirio is the best example of that. He loses all of his senses besides the feeling of falling and it requires a series of steps and timing to even use it once. Hardly a great quirk. The dude is just a badass.
Is it just me or All For One should never have lost. I mean Deku was able to find out about Erasure Head who can erase people's quirks, why doesn't All For One have one of these. Erasure wouldn't work on him if he used a sneak attack and given the fact that he can steal quirk's and apparently doesn't age why hasn't he thought of steal a quirk to stop other people's quirks. It works through like an injection or it's harvested and turned into an injection. Bottomline is that another quirk to stop quirks exists. Momo's quirk should have been on this list. So many people don't realize just how OP Momo's quirk can be. Being able to create anything for any kind of situation makes it a very versatile quirk to have. You can on the fly make any kind of weapon, tool, or gadget that you might need when doing super hero work. Momo is very smart, but just imagine how crazy it would be if Mei Hatsume had Momo's quirk. She could just invent new weapons and gadgets on the fly to deal with what ever villain she was up against. And if you really needed to do some damage, you can create even bigger more powerful weapons in parts and just create the tools needed to assemble them. So it might take a little longer, but a nuclear missile would be possible with such a quirk. :)
Something I don't like about the quirk distribution in MHA is how most of the heros have quite physical quirks while a lot of villains have quirks which are not physical but extremely powerful because of the nature of their quirk. Chisaki can disassemble and assemble anything including humans by physical contact, how the fuck is that less powerful than one for all.
Shigaraki probably just jumped up to about 1-2 now that he is no longer holding himself back. He basically destroyed an entire city by touching the ground, can dust people instantly, if something is touching something that is being decayed than it will also be decayed, and no longer needs all his fingers to activate it.
Eri should be the strongest Her quirk:rewind what it does:she can rewind anything her quirk is on the horn on her head she can rewind anything she can even rewind people till they were nonexistent boom

He by no means has an aptitude for fighting like all might or eraser head... he was literally getting WHOOPED by togata ... someone with one of the weakest quirks out there. But the difference is togata is a fighter who has honed his skills like all might, eraser head etc. if overhaul showed as much refined ability as someone like them then he’d probably be unstoppable. He can’t even neutralize his quirk without using gloves.... yet that sounds skilled to you. Crazy.

Remember overhaul can't exactly fight. For example that fight with midoriya he did the same shit over and over again. Then only thing that really made him a threat was fusing with his underlings. Bakugou uses his quirk alot better than he does

I think it has potential to be a crazy strong quirk though, we assume that eventually Tokoyami will be able to master it even during the night making it's only weakness light. Hell, it took down a villain that had both Bakugo and Todoroki on the defensive in one or two hits (I can't be bothered to check). Obviously we don't KNOW that he can master it, but I think he can and once he does you should make a new list.
What I dont understand about One For All is HOW it transfers quirks. If All Might gave it to Todoroki, and Todoroki passed it on to whoever, the person who it got passed to would have both the Fire & Ice AND the strength, or just the strength?

QUIRK NAME: Spirit detachment
ABILITY: The user is able to partially detach his inner being from the body, he is able to be in a form which allows him to materialize and land attacks, but he can also let attacks through. Although, the user still has a bit of his being still attached to his body, because if he detaches all the way, he will not be able to go back to his body and will have to roam the spirit realm for eternity (A.K.A. he will die). The only way to defeat this quirk is to attack the body, if the body is attacked then it will affect the spirit body and will detach. The user can overcome this by
A: keeping the body suspended in air next to him (sort of like if you've watch Hunter x Hunter, how pitou is controlled by her puppet)
B: possess the enemy's body and take control of their being. In this state, all the quirks that belong to the owner of the body can now be controlled by him. He can also gather information by going through the body's owner's consciousness.

Ryan Cokus I just want to clarify before I make any comments, the spirit cannot detach from the original body, so it has to be touching it at all times? If so, how would the possession work? You might want to change it to the person being able to detach from their body for a limited amount of time, or make it so that they can only detach it to a certain range.
Sahil Patil Maybe when he controls another person he is technically capable of using that body as his own and can switch the original body's owner to the spirit guys body, when the enemy is in spirits body they have no quick and are basically just a normal human.
As a roleplayer the quirk seems a bit iffy, you said you basically die if he leaves the body, how did he find out of his quirk, it's not a good quirk but thats my opinion

She is very manipulative; but when her friends betrayed her, she becomes more human like. The time she seemed most human was when her father manipulated her into staying behind to become Fire Lord. And when she talked to her mother in the mirror. My favorite scene was when she tried flirting with Chan on Ember Island. My reason for mentioning her is because she reminds me of Todoroki's father.

Can you make a video ranking the characters based on how well they used their quirks even with their weaknesses. In my opinion, two candidates for best uses are Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka (Who I ship together.) Izuku Midoriya because even when he couldn't control his quirk, he still found ways to use it. Also, even with 5%, he is still quite strong. Ochaco because she fought very well against Katsuki Bakugo, and she showed a lot of determination and creativity. And she did that without advice for Midorya.

You forget that he is already ranked as having one of the most powerful quirks. The fact that he is in the list at all shows how well he at using his quirk. Which of course means it is self evident that he would be a candidate for a list of characters that use their quirks effectively. Remember A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun? Toma Kamijo was able to defeat two of the strongest esters in Academy City. And he is classified as a level 0 esper, meaning that he should technically not have an ability. He has an ability called Imagine Breaker. It negates and cancels out all supernatural forces. It is not effective against physical attacks. Also, it's limited to just his right hand. Most esper abilities seem to be based on how effective they would be on non-espers, and on there range and physical influence. Toma is clearly under classified, just like how many people aren't put into the hero course because there quirks aren't effective in fighting robots. Even though he is a low ranked Esper, he has fought against very powerful people and won against most of them. (Of course, he ends up in the hospital for most of them. Remember, he isn't strong against physical attacks or magic that doesn't touch him, like when he lost his arm.)
Also, don't call yourself God. Even if it's just an acronym, it's still sacrilegious (or blasphemous).

Let's look at that, stockpiling power. As we've learned from nomus shock absorption having a limit as to not be nullification, quirks are very specific. I believe what makes one for all really special is that it does NOT have to release anything it stockpiles. That's why the passing on quirk melds so well, after 8 generations, strength, intelligence (all might scored a 6 out of 5 for intelligence on the exam), agility, and even hints of the users personalities have all stockpiled and resulted in the strongest quirk of all. Also, almight himself proves this. He does NOT look like his weaker form, his "buff" form is what he used to look like before the injury. He taps into his power stockpiles to gain not only his peak physical form but the added power of the quirk gained through generations of use.

He should of had quirks to counter the major heroes but he can't even counter his mortal enemy All Might who could be countered with super regen and shock absorption like Nomu.

Momo's quirk should have been on this list. So many people don't realize just how OP Momo's quirk can be. Being able to create anything for any kind of situation makes it a very versatile quirk to have. You can on the fly make any kind of weapon, tool, or gadget that you might need when doing super hero work. Momo is very smart, but just imagine how crazy it would be if Mei Hatsume had Momo's quirk. She could just invent new weapons and gadgets on the fly to deal with what ever villain she was up against. And if you really needed to do some damage, you can create even bigger more powerful weapons in parts and just create the tools needed to assemble them. So it might take a little longer, but a nuclear missile would be possible with such a quirk. :)
The mha world quirk stuff is like opening those plastic mystery chocolates. Sometimes you don’t get a quirk or you get a good one or bad one lol

Something I don't like about the quirk distribution in MHA is how most of the heros have quite physical quirks while a lot of villains have quirks which are not physical but extremely powerful because of the nature of their quirk. Chisaki can disassemble and assemble anything including humans by physical contact, how the fuck is that less powerful than one for all.
Shigaraki probably just jumped up to about 1-2 now that he is no longer holding himself back. He basically destroyed an entire city by touching the ground, can dust people instantly, if something is touching something that is being decayed than it will also be decayed, and no longer needs all his fingers to activate it.

Overhaul is limited by the fact that he needs to make physical contact with the target.
