I had an f10 m5, sold it, and felt sad all of a sudden. So now I am getting another one, have bought it and its arriving soon. Its a the feeling you get when driving a special car. And that v8!
@@rufatkupa4848 I bought a Volvo after the first one, car being great but felt miserable. And when I heard the buyer has crashed the m5 I sold I felt even worse. So I bought another one. :) Hope you find a good one. Good luck :)
The main concern is the fact it has the equally troublesome 4.4 L BMW V8 (I get sick just hearing those words in one sentence) because of those horrible valve seals they have.
@@cw2840 That’s true if you don’t do proper maintenance and replace the rod bearings. It was only a real issue because BMW recommended a 15-20K oil change interval that exacerbated the rod bearing clearance issue with oil starvation. Such a shame really. But it’s good news to those of us who want an exciting car for a relatively affordable price.
I have an F10 myself. And I completely agree. When I first got mine about 6 years ago it looked so modern and fresh to me. Secretly though I always liked the E60 design much more. And as time goes on the E60 is aging much more gracefully than F10.
Make sure to watch Part 2 ruclips.net/video/BZ3R_S_hyew/видео.html
Had both (F10 Competition and E60)...still have the E60. A legend.
You're Lucky. Enjoy life.
Why you keep the e60
@@jammies6228 Because it is one of the best cars ever made, the driving experience is incredible. A very special car.

once that turbo hit at sports plus m2 mode with those rapid shifts!
Haha saw you in other m5 videos, planning on purchasing one with 36,000 miles soon

why did you sell the f10?
It had some issues, and I was only using it in summer. Short summer here. Now I got another one, but will sell it too. Car is old.
every m5 at start is bad but through the year people start to like them XDD
I love my f10 m5
And when we look, both engines were problematic. The V10 had VANOS and oiling issues and the V8 had timing, valve stem seal issues. Meh
Weird, the F10 M5 is a V8, but sounds like a Subaru flat-four.
You gotta get a exhaust and it makes it sound so good
Blödsinn, ich bin einen stock gefahren, der klingt traumhaft… jedenfalls für einen V8 Turbo

Lol no the s63 is literally leagues more reliable than the S85 that’s known to just throw away rods on the daily
@@cw2840 the s63 has rod bearing issues as well but cant deny it happens less than on the e60

Tbh i didnd have any major issues with this engine. The maintenance is key ;)
Don't have that much more power or Touque, an it's 90kg heavyer, I reckon the driver of the E60 was going slower to make the new M5 look better
has 100hp more (F10's are known to dyno stock at 600+) a fancier mdm traction system and a gearbox that's a million times faster, wtf did you expect
45 more hp, 160nm more torque and a better gearbox
