    Tiberium Wars takes place about sixteen to seventeen years after the events of Tiberian Sun: Firestorm, at the advent of and during the "Third Tiberium War" when the Brotherhood of Nod launches a worldwide offensive against the Global Defense Initiative, abruptly ending 17 years of silence and temporarily crippling GDI. With the odds tipped in the Brotherhood's favor this time, GDI field commanders rally their troops and begin to combat Nod's second re-emergence, trying to restore lost hope. In the middle of it all, a new playable faction appears: the alien Scrin.

    Tippy tip tip.
    The powers that destroyed your refinery is the Nod Catalyst Missile and as per its name, acts as a catalyst to explode Tiberium. One shots refineries, silos, harvesters and causes any Tiberium in its radius to explode, damaging units in them. Even vehicles.
    Your Firehawks couldn't attack the Stabilisers because you had the missile load out which is only anti air. Bombs are anti ground silly.
    Yeah, this last mission you managed to luck out with only one force attacking you at a time. Most others and myself included had to deal with attacks on both fronts simultaneously. It was hectic but fun.
    But Jay, think of the Black Hand as Starcraft Firebats but now better. So you must build them, for they will be your Black Hand of the Great Fire(bat) Army!
    Edit: Oh, yeah, one last thing. Damaged units come out of your destroyed buildings and full health units come out of your sold buildings. What units come out usually depends on the Tier of building. Like your MCV's will always give one standard infantry and engineer. Note, only infantry units are gotten, not vehicles. That would be too OP.

      @@Zergboy2 I think the units prioritize their targets based on what they are good against when they are in range, Defense Turrets does that so I think the units does too

    Wow the AI really left you off the hook in this one, I've seen (even Normal difficulty) LPs of this were it constantly rams your base right at the startup with both Scrin and NOD, with both superweapons activated simultaneously

    Nice work Jay! Now you are heading to the Nod campaign, so I am going to give you a heads up. The Nod campaign is in the same timeline as the GDI campaign, they take place at the same time. Now you get to see the whole story from Nod’s perspective.

    Well I used the liquid Tiberium bomb. And I got a lesser pleasing outcome. But thanks jay for showing me the other (better) ending of GDI

    that missile wich hit refinery at 10 mins or so was catalyst missile i think since when nuke lands it takes most of your base lol
    at 20 mins propably another catalyst missile tough other refinery might have got killed by those battleships wich lauch those volleys of discs
    almost dead riflemans are from your destroyed buildings
    25 mins its catalyst missile again since it destoyes everything tiberium based things... :D and more riflemans from destroyed buildings lol
    for black hands mas apc with some snipers inside will kill them fast, and you couldn´t destroy stabilasers since you had anti air missiles on warhawks loadout lol they aren´t invulnerable...
    at 30 mins its nod recon bikes wich can detect stealth units wich detected your snipers..
    lol i take nod any time rather than scrin lol for scrin ground is easy to defend but those shielded aircraft are pain in the as if they come with lots of them like they usually do lol... :D
    36 mins " there is obelisk there wich we can completely avoid"... juggernauts shooting it lol...

    Yeah, Black Hand squads are a pain to deal with GDI because they just don´t have an easy anwser to them in tiberium wars. On another topic, about detection: basically ALL defensive structures(turrets ofc) detect, then all basic rocket dmg ground vehicles detect(pitbulls, nod bikes and scrin disk launcher units), and then GDI's orcas (with special abilities) and nod's venoms(small flying units that shoot lasers when upgraded) can detect.

    If you use the Liquid T bomb on nod base it won't end with the bad ending and if you want the bad ending you must directly use the bomb on that big Scrin control structure.

    Wow it looks like the Scrin AI really let you off the hook there. In my games both Nod and Scrin would attack my base constantly.
    Btw the Scrin gets constant patrol waves of Carriers in this map - they would spawn at the the top near at the objective building and move down the canyon (which I assume is what remains of the Tiber River) following the Blue Tiberium and leave the map. But apart from those patrol waves, it looks like the Scrin didn't really attack you at all.
    In any case, good work completing the GDI campaign. Now we shall Nod's perspective in this war.

    Jay I have something to comment about the cranes, in the Original Base game of Command&Conquer 3 cranes could build defensive structures but in most collections that have C&C 3 and it's expansion in 1 quote File cranes can't build anything but support(silos, and a building in the expansion that I will not go into right now) and other main buildings

      Back then in version 1.0, scrin harvesters released ion storms when destroyed! What a disaster it would have been had it not been patched out.

      And then you have the Soviet crane in Red Alert 3 that builds pretty much everything, repairs vehicles, and turns vehicles that you don’t use anymore into scrap money. Basically the overpowers crane xD

    Your refinery was hit by a catalist missile. It one shots anything containing tiberium. Nod nukes are proper nukes that wipe out your entire base

    pro tip to your lack of knowledge of the other factions, if you click on a unit/building and hover over the unit portrait, it describes the building/unit and what they can do

    Its kind funny how he thinks the Catalysis Missile is a Nuke. I really wish he did get hit by a Nuke to show him the difference.
    If you capture a Refinery or Tech structure it provides a build radius, any Engineer costs 500 were as Surveyor costs 1500. Stick a egineers in APC to transport it easier (or surce the area then use Call For Transport.

    The AI is terrible at using the Mothership because it's basically a mobile superweapon that can only attack things directly below, and the AI doesn't how to use the Attack Terrain order

      I once had a playthrough where it wiped the Nod base when its units were busy attacking my base and it targeted units chilling in the Nod base while their buddies are being produced. The Mothership have a wide instant-kill aoe attack that looks like the Ion Cannon but whatever it contacts explode and that explosion also chain reacts with anything else nearby. It can insta-kill clumped up bases if used right which is escort it to the nearest building and watch the fireworks.

    You can counter black hand (flamethrower soldiers) with air and anti-infantery vehicles like apcs, flame tanks and corruptors

    Unlike starcraft 2 missions (which get progressively harder as a mission goes on), C&C missions (even hard mode) are actually pretty easy if know exactly what to do and expect from the enemy, timing your units and buildings early is good to.

    The mothership's cannon spreads to every unit adjacent to the ones hit and will keep spreading until there is no more nearby like a stack of dominos. I suspect that's what took out the temple of nod since it stood in the middle for a while. Only problem is that it takes a while to charge and that's why it couldn't hit those nod units since they kept moving. Seems you got unlucky though. In my first playthrough I believed the mothership should have hit the main nod base and soften them up for you. Then again I was playing on easy so the scripts might have been different

      You used it on nod? Heard something about not using it on the node and still getting the good ending though I'm not too sure.

    Could it be, that he played without the latest update? I never had so much AI issues in the campaign, nearly his whole run was in "easy" :D Even on normal they did a lot more on most maps or didnt get stuck so often. The prevoius map could be extreme cool, if NOD would work like the mapdesigner insisted. NOD crushes Scrin nealry every time fast. Now i watch your NOD. As some people already mentioned, its getting a bit different from now^^

    okay here’s a tip for the assumed upcoming Nod Campaign. Stealth is important and each faction has their own detectors like in SC2 Observers and Ravens. For GDI it is pit bulls and for scrin it’s the little chicken walkers called gun walkers. The walker units you will eventually get called Avatars are gonna be your new mammoth tanks. the air for Nod isn’t as confusing the venoms are anti infantry and anti air vertigo bombers are stealth bombers. i feel black hand aren’t as good when you use them.

      the Scrin detectors are the Lurker (the light hover tank that shoot plasma discs) and the Planetary assault carrier.

      Gun Walker is Scrin's anti personnel vehicle, the Seeker hover tank is Scrin's detector
