- What is up everyone! I am currently in Mexcio and this is the first video (of quite a few) of my travels here. I didn’t have much expectation going into this of what my videos would turn out like, so here is a chilled vlog style video for you to all see what I get up to whilst I’m here. Sit back, relax and I hope you all enjoy it! If you have feedback that would be awesome too. Sam x

What’s up! Quick note: I’d advise watching this on full screen with your phone tilted landscape (if on computer click onto full screen too). The aspect ratio is 21:9 (a more cinematic experience) therefore the entire phone screen will be filled. Hopefully this allows you guys to feel more immersed in the streets of Mexico 🔥

It is not overrated. We are one of the few countries with the most World Heritage Sites on the planet. We are globally recognized for our gastronomy and we are the largest partners of the United States.

As someone whose parents are from Oaxaca and love the cultura and amazing food. It put a smile on my face to see you light up when you tried every dish…my parents are retiring and returning to Oaxaca and can’t wait to go visit and do something culinary adventures!
Also my aunt is from Puerto Escondido and they have amazing beaches!

Nice to see a change of pace of the content. One thing that I think a lot of travel foodie vlogs miss out on, is that everything is told from the lens of the vlogger. For example the chef at the farm, he said something to effect of "I've been cooking this my entire life." One question vloggers fail to ask is a simple "So tell me about your life." I'd love to know more about the people and their stories that travel vloggers meet in their journey's. However for one of your first go's at this, good job!
What an absolutely wonderful episode Sam! It was just so much fun watching you explore around and try all these ingredients and foods from Mexico. The way you edited the vlog was perfect. Trying hard not to be envious. My two Mexico visits were on work's trips. The most adventurous thing I tasted was avocado's ice cream. I wanted so bad to do culinary tourism.
