Have you played against many cheaters lately? I've had 2-3 games where it was VERY sus but wasn't as obvious as this one.
I haven't noticed any yet. I think the most telling thing was they hit every headshot but missed the dynamite lol

i played 6 games in diamond, had 5 games with legit rage hacking sojourns and 76's just snapping all over the place. SIGH this is what happens when a game becomes Free to play.

That Sigma was such an alpha. He just sent his shield off on solo missions to ruin this guy's day and his team still did just fine.
I sometimes love how you can send that shield to the fucking moon. Although given how bad his positioning was, I bet DVA would've ruined his day even more. He would've been panicking so bad while getting dived on with DM

The whole team did well against the hacker, but props to Spoon and TankBoss. Spoon did good DPS and TankBoss had the confidence to dedicate his shield to flipping off the hacker
I loved the shield just for a widow and an ult just for him right at the end
The amount of times the cheater was low health right next to a health pack but didn't heal themselves 💀

@@KuroSinseii it is also common for many players to not know where the closest healthpacks for certain maps. Been primarily playing qp and I am still learning where the healthpacks are in some of the newer maps.

as a tf2 player i can confirm cheaters do it a lot
they can't get kills as a scout or a demo or solider so they switch to sniper which has almost instant 150 damage

I just realized that the Sigma did a seriously big brained play at 18:45.
By hurling the ulting Hanzo upward with Gravitic Flux, he not only gets to kill the Hanzo, the Dragons then do nothing, because they're no longer shoving themselves straight into the cart.

You also have to remember you can still aim them while he charges the arrow so he just didnt aim lol

For some reason the cheater popping Widow Ult to shoot at the Sigma after already wiping the rest of the team, WHILE USING WALLHACKS, was the funniest thing I've seen in OW in a while
I lost it when they switched to Hanzo and then got so panicked they were just spraying arrows.
Arrows that just flopped to the ground in front of him. I knew he wouldn't manage to hit anyone with Hanzo because he couldn't manage to hit anyone with Sojourn's projectiles either.
As a Hanzo main it was absolutely atrocious and made me so uncomfortable to watch 😂
I was drinking coffee when they missed the Tracer... almost choked.
I was there for that during the livestream and I was like, *"HOW DO YOU MISS A STATIONARY TARGET?!"*

Honestly you don’t even need amazing aim to be good if you have good gamesense😭😭 like obviously you need to be able to hit some shots, but if this guy spent as much time actually learning the game as he did playing like trash with cheats he could be good
Sadly if their gamesense was any better they might fly under the radar of even some good players. The aimlock they're using isn't very obvious, what seals the deal is how they're sitting still in the middle of the street and aiming through walls.. This is how most CS cheaters used to get caught thru Overwatch, because they used wallhacks and couldnt stop themself from looking at enemies through the wall and preaiming.

I met him once as a teammate in a quick match while playing with my friends, he picked ashe and just keep getting kills very quick however his movement was awkward so we assume that he is a smurf but he's lagging until today when i see this and i understood his killing spree and his awkward movements lmao

having aim is def a skill, and theres no better feeling than seeing yourself get better at aiming going from getting no shots, to body shots, to some headshots. ill never understand cheaters
I cant completely understand it either. I know winning or doing well is fun but with a little introspection I dont see how a cheater would feel good knowing their efforts weren't legit.

@@thoet7270 to add onto the other guy, unscoped shots don’t make you lose any speed. So if you’re close by and especially against a shield, just spam unscoped

I hope we can see the outlines of our team during kill cam. It's a very good way to spot cheaters who can track through walls.

Saw him switch to Hanzo and my immediate thought was that the cheats would lock onto their heads instead of slightly above for the headshot. Just cemented how dumb this guy is.
of course, one brain cell was required to say han, and the second was required to say zo.
He has two brain cells fighting for third place.
He forgot that aimhack doesn't work the same on projectile characters.
Flats sorta missed what was going on here, the cheater did not have an aimbot, he had a triggerbot. It fires automatically when the crosshair goes over an enemy. That's why he was sweeping left and right, that's why he was aiming over their heads and then slowly descending on widow (to get headshots) and why he was not aiming upwards or firing before full charge on Hanzo

I think it's auto shoot cheat, that's why he "sweeps" - to get his scoped alined with heads so it will automatically shoot for him

Now after watching till the end, I'm even more sure it's auto shoot cheat. He aims above, so the first thing that comes is head. And when he took handzo he was charging arrows but enemies were getting in the way and it triggered cheat to shot under charged for him
Yeah I think so, also for future reference it is called triggerbot and yes that is something people who use it often do, just alot of the time it's more chaotic mouse movements that give it away,

I came across a cheater like that yesterday. The dude was poping a lot of headshot, his aim was snaping to people head but you could see with the way he was positioning himself that he was bad.
I had a sojourn cheater that was definitely walling and it was a bit hard to tell about aimbot but wouldn’t be surprised if they used both. The red flag was finding where our lucio was hiding and tracking people in the buildings on illios well
It's incredible that a few of the only missed shots are because the target stepped behind some cover and the shot hit the cover instead of their head. Their scoped accuracy has to be above 90% because they only had a few "missed shots" off widow that were because the cheats locked on through walls (not the "shoot the ground to lower my stats" strat). This precise of aim anywhere would be insane.
The cheater himself brought the cover between them most of times before hiting the button.

And they miss every shoot as Hanzo because they are still on hitscan setings. You need two diffrent aimbots or settings for hitscan and projectil charakters. Is only showws how stupid they realy are. The humor of him using hitscan cheats and switching to Hanzo isn't lost on me
I had ran into an Ashe player who had crazy aim during a quick match that made me think he was cheating. Im still not sure if they were, but on the kill cams he would double tap me every time he either hit a corner or i would be playing the backline. Unfortunately I didn't save the replay to view it because I let it go after the match.
After seeing this though, I legit wonder if I may have been correct? Now that I now light hackers are still in OW2 I'll start saving my replays when I'm in doubt. Thank you for the share and exposing these lames!

That reminds me of a game i played against a cheating widow. I picked Winston to counter her and was just so disoriented about her position, because she was either sitting on top of the payload or on the lowest possible points available. That was propably one of the worst widows ive seen

It was expected to happen. The goal in any game is never to prevent any cheaters from existing, that's unfortunately impossible. Its to stop them once they start. These cheaters are training the AI detection tool to tell the difference between human and mechanical aiming. At the same time they added phone verification for new accounts so that, eventually, it'll be at least more annoying for hackers to continue. It will get better, this stuff just takes time and it is much less prevalent at least than it was near the end of OW1s lifecycle. I've only encountered one so far myself

As a 270 hour widow main that took up ashe as soon as she came out, headshotting mercy in valk is not an easy feat

Pretty sure they changed their name to onyx. I played ranked against a Ashe named onyx that had the exact same weird aiming style and only shot headshots and didn't miss. He left clicked a total of 6 times in a 3 map Busan game that was pretty close. He would also snap to people's heads without having any bullets.
Also I reported him for cheating about a week ago, haven't had a single message of actions being taken against accounts.
7:20 I'm certain from that angle that's an impossible headshot, because the torso hitbox blocks the head hitbox, I have bad memories of it being blocked on a reaper by the invisible chest hitbox... PepeHands
That kinda reminds me: Not that long ago I was screwing around in the training range with my bf where as Ana I slept the Tracer bot and he Cass ulted it and it was not locking on to its head at all. Didn't matter where he was standing and holding deadeye though. It was only on the slept Tracer bot too - pretty sure we tested it on a few other characters.

I’m getting back into Overwatch and re-learning the ropes and I have played against Spoon. They are absolutely frightening with Ashe and just wrecked everything. But it’s cheaters like the one you’re spectating that sadly put people who are just genuinely good at the game into question too. 😕 I also think I played against Onyx too and found their style of gameplay off at the time.

How did this man, using aimbot, managed to take that long to charge Sojourn's railgun? Goddamn
The cheat they were using was a trigger bot and probably walls. The way that this hack works is just clicking for you at the right time. That is why you see them aim left to right so much, because to get a kill they only need ot over the head for a split second. This kind of hack however will totally break on hanzo because he is projectile and release instead of press. The reason they cant hit the mercy flying is because the trigger bot can't account for latency, so if you are having problems with someone using one, try lucio or junkerqueen to outrun the trigger.
I think the biggest clue is that theirs some headshots that were targeted while the other teams shield is up. Normally a logical player would be trying to break shield first, not auto targeting someones head behind a shield that isn't close to being broken....
Those were the most horrendous moments of Hanzo I have ever had the misfortune to witness

I’ve just started playing Overwatch 2. I’ve played tf2 for year and have gotten pretty good at being able to call cheats but this is hard. Maybe because I’m new to the game but from the other teams view it probably just looks like someone who’s good. There’s too much damage going at once to realize someone’s cheating. Scary stuff.
Flats explains the various things pretty well but basically, once you have more hours under your belt and understand the game better, looking at this is just absolutely hilarious and spottable within the first minute. From the enemy team's perspective: There are certainly some situations where you can ascribe it to someone with just cracked, consistent aim. But there are many situations where you know it's just implausible.
@@zendakk Just look at the flicking to the head as widow, way to precise and almost robotic movement of the cursor. I've watched top 500 players like ML7 miss way more scoped shots then that. He's a guy that has thousands of hours of in the game and multiple rank 1's.
Played a game of death match yesterday. A tracer visibly had the Lucio speed-boost aura on her feet. As you probably know, that’s not possible in the least. Thought it might have been a bug at first, then it appeared as though she was clearly exploiting the advantage.
