@@BrobjeV Could be, not sure. You could probably stream or "yaaaar" it. Its totally worth it, excellent movie! Its kinda weird, in a good way. And if you have a sound system hooked up, it sounds pretty good as well. Its very hard to describe, but I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, at least once.
I really appreciate this expression of art. They are all numbers and they are counting. This video was shot only with the most sacred of indigenous peoples and their rituals. Very impressive
sorry but what message did get out of the song? or are you being sarcastic? i (a christian) probably hear something different, bound by flesh (flesh meaning sin in the biblical context) and freed by blood (blood of christ). but NIHIL is latin and means literally nothing, as in: it's nothing. so maybe we are just giving it a meaning of our own?
Loved that horrified look on that dudes face! Imagine the most happy go lucky guy, just losing it. It's like he just realized that everything he ever believed in has been a lie, meaningless, pointless. Or maybe he got home from his 9 to 5. Opened the door to his house, and found out his entire family was murdered. Just the look of, he just saw or realized the most gruesome thing ever. I will literally watch that guy freak out atleast a couple of times. Before I watch the rest of the video. Oh, this is band fantastic! I've been living under a bigger rock than I thought. This band is like tatto yourself good. Mind blown, good job!
This band is hitting me so hard on my 90's and 00's awesome shit right now. Skinny Puppy, Ministry, In Strict Confidence, KMFDM...all those great memories. I fucking hope this is the resurgence of Industrial because I need that hard shit in my life. This crap that's being put out these days sucks, but this gives me hope.
This is awesome! Happy to discover 3teeth today. Always have liked industrial. Along with thrash , prodigy, Crystal method, kind of stuff. 3teeth is new and fresh , ear candy. Their cover of pumped up kicks is really awesome! This will crush pop.😁
Not even gonna lie. I'm here bc of Tool. so far, in love. Your videos are on point! This one is a stand out. Hope I'll be seeing you in Atl. on the 25th.
Luiz Fernando should check out the source materials, Baracka and Samsara are fantastic “silent” documentaries (as in having nothing spoken by the documenters (or really anyone) at all, letting the footage and audio speak for itself.)
This video is deep. One could question whether we are really more civilized or more well off than the natives of third world countries. These people live and die without every dealing with first world technology and problems. Yet we run around like drones, consumed by materialism, greed, and disregard for our fellow man. Are they happier or better off without all of our advancements, possibly.
Yep, that is the entire premise of Baraka (as well as the "Qatsi" trilogy that preceeded it) - a movie that will linger in your head for months & years after viewing.
I don't know, do you like this music? Living a 3rd world lifestyle, you would never hear this. This music wouldn't even exist if we'd remained tribal. I enjoy 1st world luxuries, even if we have large-scale government. Are we robotic? Not really. I think it's a huge overstatement. A lot of us go to work everyday, but even indigenous tribal folks work, there's still a leader who is essentially a smaller scale version of a government. In the end, I think a lot of people are just afraid of the future and tend to overreact to the changes. It doesn't mean that we should go about it blindly and expect everything to be great, but if your biggest problems are going to a job where you scan people's items and bag them, I'd say your life is probably pretty good. Especially if you can go home, log on to the internet, and download music like this for free.
I feel like having a balance of both worlds is fundamentally important. Having a connection with nature, eating naturally and not being over stimulated are awesome but having running water, modern medicine, art, science, not worrying about being eaten by tigers on a daily basis and internet porn are all awesome too.
Very clichéd comment. I would like to ask all edgy kids to come up with better criticism of our ''disgusting, brainwashed, robotic'' 1st world, and not to just copy and repeat the same thoughts over and over again. Comments like: ''Omg those tribesmen don't have fucking cellphones, they are probably a lot happier than us and they have so little omg'' is overused, boring and predictable. Please stop, it's nothing deep, it's nothing special. Materialism, greed and disregard for our fellow man existed before, exists now and will exist in the future and it is present in every form and in every type of society, regardless of its technological achievements. Being poorer and less technologically advanced doesn't make the tribes in africa superior to anyone in terms of humaneness or general goodness, nor it necessarily makes them any happier. It's a myth and depends on an individual.
Domagoj Vrsaljko farther we stray from humanity, the more we become machine. it's just the truth, generally, but if you're a tribesman/tribeswoman you don't even know about let alone give a shit about technological advancements so you're right about it depending on an individual.
