This is awesome I purchased the JBL Charge 5 because it was more affordable, still costly. I finally upgraded from buying those cheap Bluetooth speakers you get at the dollar stores lol. I needed something to play at work that could get loud enough to play over all the shop machinery and noise. These JBL speakers do that and more. I'm impressed with the quality of the sound.
I agree 100% with you my friend. I have two JBL charge five speakers and I couldn’t be happier with the sound quality. Absolutely amazing especially when you turn on that party boost feature. I’m hoping to get this JBL Xtreme three and the JBL boombox three soon hopefully as well. I don’t necessarily need them, but I’m a huge fan of JBL, and they have outlasted all my other speakers. Like Anker, Bose, beats, etc. I swear by the speakers. I even had a JBL charge four for a few years. I got it back in 2018, finally sold it to a good friend last year. The thing still bumps and works great. My stepdad has a JBL charge three and it sounds amazing still. Like I said, I don’t need the JBL extreme three, or the boombox three, but I have an ultimate plan. I have gatherings with friends often and while my 2 JBL charge five speakers are sufficient enough to bring to gatherings, I don’t know. I really have no way to justify it but other than the fact that we all like big sound. Lol.

I like this speaker a lot, versatile and a sound quality comparable with good monitor speakers. If a frequency is more or less than others the included eq makes some adjustments. Now in technical terms this speaker is gifted with a biamp 2x stereo TDA3116 chips, with one dedicated channel for each of the 4 transducers, making a total of 100 w in AC mode and 60 w in battery mode. Each of the chips have a total of 50x2 w so the xtreme is using just the half of it
I bought 2 of these for party boost it’s great quality sound and body of this speaker is great but I spent almost $1100 for 2 of them expensive but good investment it cost me that much because it’s I’m from Canada
I just bought one but honestly it isnt what I expected.Its loud but after you turn 50 up volume clear sound goes away.....But for the size and portability might be the best.Great review.

@@get2thebands only have one charge 5 so can’t really campare how xtreme 3 would be against 2 charge 5, but since its been a month since i got it, i have a bit more experince with xtreme 3, the xtreme 3 plays a fair amount louder, bigger, and have more and deeper bass, it dosen’t dissapear as it does on charge 5 as much after you hit 50% volume, one other major improvment is sound depth, it sounds wider, witch is even more noticeable when you use it outside and you don’t stand next to it, my plan for charge 5 was to use it at work, but lacked some output, xtreme 3 seems to do job fine, for $200 it well worth the money, its not much more than i paid for charge 5 witch was at around $150, i might try to connect both together to see how that works, had my charge 5 connected with flip 5 and it sounded better this way in my opinion you gain a bit louder sound by connecting 2 units
Pls can anyone help me? I have a problem with my jbl xtreme 3 GG version, the buttons are not working only start up button works. I can press the buttons but they are not reacting. I already tried restarting and factory restarting nothing works bcs the buttons won t work. Also i can t turn off the speaker i can only turn it on and conect to my phone. I can only turn off my speaker by pressing start up button 8times times and hold it for 10 secs. The speaker plays music and videos normally without problems. PLS I NEED HELP
Wow I didn’t know HDMI could charge things? 😂 if only I had a HDMI to Lightning cable, bit of a useless port as most people don’t have a HDMI to USB-C or Lightning
I'm just too satisfied with my Xtreme 2. It's not over priced and in terms of bass there's minute, might be no difference in terms of bass from Xtreme 3. It depends, if we try to find the difference.
i got extreme jbl series 1,2.3 . keep ur 1 if you want to get loud outside. keep the 2,3, for indoor cause got to run cord for max power. buy other brands, sonyxg500, w king, soundcore motion boom plus, ect. u will be glad you did..
I think the main difference is durability not sound . If you want an indoor speaker for your bedroom or kitchen etc the Sony may save you some money . But if you want something you can take to the beach , the pool , out to the shed , not get so stressed about it getting knocked around , rained on etc , the jbl wins that Hands down .
Xtreme has better, bigger bass. Charge has better treble. Xtreme however is true stereo where as charge is just mono. To get stereo sound out of charge you need to buy two of them and link them up but then it is not exactly portable anymore. Xtreme is better for outdoor parties and for something you can drag around from room to room in your house but Charge is truly portable, small enough that you can toss it into your backpack and go for hiking. Xtreme is not the biggest BT speaker out there but it is big enough that it is no longer comfortable to drag around for hiking into the neck of woods and such.

I love that speaker the new battery is hella improved it sounds loud for hours.
This thing is a beast for it medium size speaker the bass raitators it's like a connon blasted over the corners walls just like car boomboxes.

Got xtreme 3 for $200 yesterday, to my supriced at 50 % its simular in output to Jbl charge 5, but deeper bass. Maybe it can go higher at scale 50-100
