It's nearly a good unit but fails imho. At this price it should have cable connectivity. The small rubber strip does not always do it's job and this thing will roll forever once it's got momentum 😅 The red flashing light to let you know the battery is getting flat is usually out of sight so it's rarely seen when needed. This is a budget unit with reasonably good sound, don't expect bells and whistles.

I want to buy also the original trackpad and the plastic accessory that connects them into one device, but it is designed to fit the original Apple keyboard. If the dimensions are identical, I would prefer to get the Satechi.

You can still use the Hatch restore 2 without paid subscription, but you will not get all of the available sounds and sunsets. There are also a few features that weren’t mentioned in the video that you also won’t be able to get.
