Seen many of their videos but I don't remember seeing Megan having THIS much of a blast before. And it's contageous. I imagine even if you don't like lengendary hard and heavy material such as this she could still win you over. What a fantastic cover and what an unexpected treat. Oh and I thank the universe for Rebeccas voice.
Don Crowder, years ago, David Lindley spoke in an interview* about the transition from being a supporting player on stage with Jackson Browne to being a bandleader with ElRayoX: "I can't hide behind this [points to his hair] any longer!" (* it was a radio interview, and host Robert Klein said " for those of you out in radio-land who can't see into the studio, he's pointing to his hair!".)
30 minutes ago I was lying in my bed and crying to my teddy-bat that I can't play a guitar and mandolin properly and I never will (even my own father says that). Now I'm smiling and enjoying your amazing cover. I love you girls, you rock, please never change. ☮️
Stanisław Adamowicz First, I have to agree with what the other person said. If you are trying to learn and enjoying it you aren’t doing it wrong. Second, don’t let your father (or anyone else) project their failures on to you.
I love Rebecca's vocals. Megan rounds out the vocals with depth and harmony. They follow the classic blues style on much of their music. Rebecca keeping the base line and rhythm, and Megan making that slide guitar sing. They transform any cover and make it their own. Born an' raised in the Mississippi Blues country I say the Devil has nothing to teach them. 'Sides you are more likely to kiss a rolling bull dog as meet the Devil at the crossroads. Y'all keep getting better and better.
I can't even explain how happy and excited I am that ya'll are doing such frequent "Tip O' the Hat" uploads now! Makes my day just a little bit better each time I see a new song from you guys. 💛
This is BRILLIANT! That guitar sounded SO clean, and your voices swelled and peaked so satisfyingly. It's clear you both really had fun covering this song! It chilled me out a great deal to listen.
Congrats Ladies ! I really like that cover. I add the opportunity, I should say privilege, of seeing you live at the Mont-Tremblant Blues Festival in July 2019 and I've been a fan ever since. All he best.
Another nice cover! I love this song, I remember hearing it to my (glad) surprise at the beginning of the credits in the movie Iron Man... quite some years ago already xD.
yeah! this was one of my first riffs on my brothers' selfmade 6-string electric in times of the t.rex - thanx a lot! great harmonies (as always) - keep on, please!
I didn't think you'd get iron Man on acoustic and slide but ya, you gals hit it. I been doing your version of son houses preaching blues in open d (solo) sounds ok but you must be using dobro. Am I close enuff? Thanks jb
Soooo much of this is wrong but to see these girls even attempting one of the most Iconic songs is fantastic to see. Good on you👍👍😀. And having lots of fun doing it👍
Very interesting, that is the second Sabbath cover you ladies have shared. Did you know that in her early days of touring with a trio, Samantha Fish also would play "War Pigs"? I've heard it in some of your shows as well. Interesting parallel, Both she and you girls are the bosses in their respective bands, both are MONSTER instrumentalists, great songwriters, and Devastatingly Beautiful. And you both play in a similar genre, tipping the hat to some of the less mainstream blues artists, but with their own unique twist.
Bravo 👏🥀🕊️🌹 sending wellness blessing's to be with you always 🤗 I have not had a chance to watch these past few days and will be over gain tomorrow 🌬️🍃💚 I just posted my album that I wrote a couple of weeks ago, but am old and have only been singing since Christmas.
Megan barely hiding her grin while playing is my favorite part!!
I absolutely love watching Megan play, her unadulterated joy cannot be suppressed, that little grin gets me every time...
This is why I watch covers on RUclips. Every once in awhile you get one like this.
Rebecca: I absolutely love your voice. Super smooth and soulful. And that guitar is sweet!.....Megan: the best harmony and killer slide. Thank you.
Gotta hand it to these two... unique arrangement, vocals nailed confidently, sounding like they've honed this song for years and years. So impressive.

I've discovered that you can tell how much fun Megan is having by how much of her face you can see through the flying hair. :) #rockonsister
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You girls throw it down like few I've ever seen. And I've been around since 1959...
Since '47, for me.
Outstanding!!! And it was especially beautiful to see Megan rocking out and smiling ear-to-ear!!!
The best part about you two is you play with feeling more than anything. Keep it coming.
This was one of my favorite songs when I was in 4th grade, long before these two lovelies were ever born. Furthermore, this cover is great.
I like these home studio/bedroom videos the best. Thanks.
Awesome

Define properly? Are you having fun? Does it make you happy? If so, you are doing it right.

Manhuaçu MG BRASIL 31/03/2020 19:34 ave império! LlKE !
Could you two do Ground On Down by Ben Harper? It'd suit Rebecca's voice, and the Weissenborn part would translate to lap steel guitar perfectly.
Brilliant
AMAZING.
Raise those horns high!!!
